UNTIL YOU HEAR WHAT MORGAN DID! Taylar starts off with Part 2 of "The Black Widower" or the cases of Dr. Toni Jill Bertolet and Lynn Henthorn in 2012 and 1995 whose "accidental deaths" raised suspicions about their loving husband: Harold Henthorn, but will authorities be able to build a strong enough case? MORGAN THEN DOES THE UNTHINKABLE AND COVERS R0B3R+ THE DOLL OR LIL ROBBIE, A VERY HANDSOME DOLL. SO LISTEN WITH CAUTION!!! Taylar then covers part one of "The Black Widower" or the cases of Dr. Toni Jill Bertolet and Lynn Henthorn in 2012 and 1995 whose "accidental deaths" raised suspicions about their loving husband: Harold Henthorn, but will authorities be able to build a strong enough case? How are we all feeling post Thanksgiving? Stuffed? YES. Well we recorded this pre-Thanksgiving, so it was simply all that we could think about! But no fear, after we talk through what we are the CEOs of, we will get creepy with ya! Morgan starts us off by covering the Moberly-Jourdain Incident, aka two iconic, educated, female besties time slip so hard ON THEIR FIRST FRIEND DATE that they literally see a Historical Figure chillin' in the gardens... Many people debate what actually happened that day, but we know whatever it was- was real. Next, Taylar covers the well known and highly debated case of 7 year old Maria Ridulph, who was abducted from her street in Sycamore, IL and murdered in December of 1957. Oddly enough, Maria's case is the first kidnapping case we have ever covered that has been cold, solved, cold again, solved, and unsolved over the years. One day, hopefully, Maria and her family will receive the justice she so deeply deserves. Can't wait to take on December with you all and see all of the Spotify Wrapped insta stories! Happy Thursday, Besties and Happy Almost Thanksgiving!! Life has been a little crazy these last few weeks and we have officially started the holiday pre-recording process, so we found it very important that we have a thorough catch up session and confess what we are the CEOs of this week! Head over to our instagram (@creepsandcrimespodcast) to make your CEO confessions for the week before we get creepy with you! Morgan starts us off with the terrifying "conspiracy theory turned true" case of the Holmesburg Prison in Philadelphia. After an athlete's foot breakout shook the prison, officials went searching for help to treat the outbreak and got into contact with Dr. Albert Kligman, a University of Pennsylvania professor of dermatology and the man credited with co-inventing Retin-A. No one knew what horrors would follow, when a simple "partnership" with the doctor turned the prison into a full blown experiment with the "acres of skin" he saw there. Of course he couldn't have done this alone, so Johnson & Johnson, Dow Chemicals, and the US Department of Defense had to join in on the "fun" (what's up Geneva?). Even after years of these horrific experiments coming to light, no one has been truly held accountable. Taylar then covers the case of "D.B. Tuber" or the 2008 Monroe, WA Bank of America Heist that shook this small and safe town to its core. Though this is a solved case, it is one of the most interesting and wild investigations of all time! Every single detail of this crime was thought out and deliberately executed in the most "perfect crime" sort of way, however these masterminds did not account for the superpowers of Allen Dean, a local unhoused man that changed the lives of so many!! Love you guys so much! Tune in next week for a special Thanksgiving Episode with our favorite sinister besties of all time! TTYL!! This episode may contain paid endorsements and advertisements for products and services. The long awaited not so part two of 162 is finally here- so let's get crimey... unfortunately.. Today, Taylar brings us a "two for one" type of case with the Yosemite Murders of 1999 and the 1972 Abduction of 7 year old Steven Stayner from Merced, California. No one would have thought that the abduction of a 7 year old boy would be connected in anyway with the brutal murders of: Carol Sund, Julie Sund, Silvina Pelosso, and Joie Armstrong, however- they were. Now that we all see exactly why Taylar and Morgan decided it would be best to split that episode in half, you're so welcome. Take care of yourself and others today! We love you all, be safe, stay creepy, ttyl besties! This episode may contain paid endorsements and advertisements for products and services. It's been a minute, but the time felt right to give you all an extended intro that could be a pipin' hot goss for the OG Pick Me Cult!! Today, Morgan gives us the case of Estefania Gutierrez Lazaro whose mysterious death and hauntings in 1991 inspired the Spanish Film "Veronica". This case will leave you with forehead-chills, a pit in your stomach, and so many questions!! Because of the length and heaviness of both Taylar and Morgan's cases- we decided to split this episode in half for you all! Hey hey hey, happy Thursday, besties!!!!! Trick or Treating is just around the corner and we just need to know, What are you wearing? oh, C&C merch? perf, love! Morgan starts us off today covering the case of Elmer McCurdy "the bandit who wouldn't give up". An outlaw who was very unsuccessful in his "outlaw'ing era, but his story (and somewhat him) lived on much longer... in the most horrific way you could possibly imagine. To think that it all started at wax museum. Taylar then covers the "misapearance" of Danny Filippidis, a 42 year old firefighter from Toronto, Canada who went missing one night on Holiday in New York. 7 days later, Danny was found... but where and when and how questions all remain unanswered by investigators and Danny, himself. Stay on the lookout for a special surprise coming to your C&C feed REAL soon!! 160... damn, we're getting old. Today, Morgan covers the case of 15 year old Kristy Bamu who was killed by his sister and her fiance during an "exorcism" on December 25, 2010. He and four of his siblings were visiting their sister Magalie Bamu and Eric Bikubi when Eric accused Kristy of doing witchcraft. Kristy drowned in a bath in an exorcism at their flat in Newham, east London, after days of torture. Taylar then covers the case of the Texarkana Moonlight Murders or "the Phantom Killer". After attacking a young couple on a lovers lane, month after month more attacks and murders that were similar seemed to follow. With a known total of 8 victims and 5 deaths- the Phantom Killer has never been located. Don't forget to send in your creepy accounts for our Halloween Special RIGHT NOW to [email protected] or through the portal on our website creepsandcrimespodcast.com TTYL BESTIES!!
