Creeps and Crimes

Happy Thursday Besties!!! We are back to chat and get creepy with you!! Today, Taylar goes first with Part 2 of the Black Dahlia case, focusing on a few main suspects and later discoveries! This case and the other cases it reaches or is possibly related to is going to be a long game for us over here at C&C! Nothing that is back to back, but overtime Taylar will be taking us into other cases and referencing back to these episodes to help construct timelines! Basically, we are saying that you should think of this 2 parter as the foundation for something much bigger! Morgan wraps it up today by scaring the living shit out of us with her "great value" coverage on the Screaming House of Union, Missouri based on the accounts, writings and experiences of Steven A. LaChance and his three young children who were literally chased out of their new home! Don't forget to send in your SUPER Creepy Accounts before the 21st of October to be featured in our Halloween Special! WELCOME TO CREEPS AND CRIMES SEASON 4!!!!! This year we are focusing on our angel number 444 and the meaning behind it all! Though there is nothing changing (content wise) we have a ton of "upgrades" coming your way, besties!!! To see all of the changes and launches, head over to our Youtube to watch our episodes and Instagram to check out our new merch as it is released (more details below)!! Today Morgan starts season 4 off with covering the case that Tay has been BEGGING for: Gef the Talking Mongoose!!!! On the Isle of Man in the 1930s, The Irving Family began hearing sounds in their walls.. eventually the source of these sinister sounds was discovered: not a regular mongoose, but a talking mongoose, named GEF! Was this a hoax or was Gef just a tattletale gossip loving maybe mongoose? Harry Price will try to get to the bottom of this case, but the unsolved paranormal mystery remains unsolved! Taylar then takes us into part one of one of the most highly requested True Crime Cases: "The Black Dahlia" or the Unsolved Murder of Elizabeth Short. Similar to the way she covered BTK, Taylar is taking us on a deep dive through every version of the case. Meaning, in this part, there may be details that you do not believe to be true, but before you question it, wait to listen to part two as the details differ from source to source (due to the media interference and age of this case)! If you haven't gotten your merch yet, head over to http://shop.dearmedia.com/creepsandcrimes to check out our SEASON 444 COLLECTION AND OUR HALLOWEEN MERCH!!!!!!!!!! We are SO excited for this launch and KNOW that it is going to be your fav pieces yet!! Thanks so much for listening, besties! Sending love and light! Happy S4 and OCTOBERRRRR!!!!!! Alrighty besties! It's that time of the year again: BACK TO SCHOOL C&C SPECIAL!!! Each year we dedicate one episode to kicking off the school year with safety tips for both students and parents! Last year we focused on college students, this year we wanted to discuss internet safety for elementary school students by giving you a case that demonstrates just how vulnerable young kids are to fabricated stories and lore on the Internet. Morgan starts us off by covering the origin of Slender Man. What started off as a photoshop contest morphed into one of the biggest internet creepypasta sensations of the 2010s and led to finding possible proof of such a crypid being real, dating back centuries. Taylar then covers the case often referred to as "The Slender Man Stabbing" from Waukesha, Wisconsin in May of 2014. Three best friends: Morgan, Anissa, and Payton celebrated a 12th birthday just like any other 6th graders would by having a sleepover. No one knew the horrific events that would follow after 5 months of planning and the motivation being: becoming Slender Man's "Proxies". This tragedy takes the breath away from anyone and everyone that hears this case. Remember that the internet is now woven into our everyday lives, as adults and also for children. It is not a safe space for those who are vulnerable and because of this, it is our responsibility to protect children and educate them on internet safety- not from just the predators that lurk there, but from the stories and websites that they are not mature enough to understand. Be smart, Be safe, and educate. Teachers: we see you and thank you for all that you do. Parents: you've got this and you're doing good. Students: enjoy every moment, make new friends, try something new, and take in all of the knowledge!!!! We love you all and we will see you next week for our Creepy Accounts!! Don't forget to head over to our Instagram (@creepsandcrimespodcast) to cast your vote on which cases you would like us to revisit!!! TTYL ILY! Lots of crazy life updates going on over here, partnered with so much manifestation for better days to come in this intro!! Morgan starts us off by covering the haunting history of the Welles House in Wilkes-Barre, PA! This home is often compared to the Amityville House... yeah, not good besties!! The home is said to bring hauntings and tragedies to anyone who lives there, which is probably why it was sold for literally $1 in its third auction! Thankfully, the home was purchased in 2014 by a PROFESSIONAL Ghost Hunter/Paranormal Investigator, who determined that no soul should live in such a demonic home... but then turned around and sold it... for someone to live in... yeah, idk? Here is the ZILLOW LINK, if you're curious!! Taylar then covers the extremely complex case of the Mysterious Deaths of Kris Kremers and Lisanne Froon in Panama! These two Dutch girls were preparing to kick off 4 weeks of volunteering at a local school, when they went on a hike to a nearby volcano on April 1, 2012 and never returned. Two Months later, their remains were found scattered on the banks of a river, 95 miles away from their host family's home and an 8 hour hike away from the location they were last seen. Many believe that they simply got lost in the rainforest, but others believe that foul play was involved. Though this case is crowded with Theories and many other details, Taylar decided to pose only the most researched and substantiated theories in this case for the purpose of her reporting and overall clarity. If you would like to look deeper into this case, please email us to request sources ([email protected]) or refer to the source list below! Thank you all for tuning in, sending love and light! Talk to ya next Thursday, besties! Love ya!
