CAN YOU BELIEVE EP 150 IS NEXT WEEK?!?!?! It's been 149 Thursdays of Creeps and Crimes with our besties, we could never thank you enough for being here and your love and support! Morgan starts us off today, covering the Khamar-Daban Incident of 1993. This mystery is incredibly similar to and referred to as "the other Dyatlov Pass", which Morgan covered in episode 26 (yes, season 1, you know the rules- just no). It was summertime in Southern Siberia, Russia, when a group of 5 students set out on their hike through the intense mountain range at the lead of their instructor, 41 year old Lyudmila Korovina, an experienced hiking instructor and survivalist. However, only 1 student would make it back alive after a mysterious illness took the lives of the other group members. This student, 17 year old Valentina Utochenko, was so traumatized that, after being forced to survive on her own in the mountains for 4 days before her rescue, she was unable to speak for years to follow. What do you think happened in those mountains?  Taylar then covers the Feb. 2009 murder of 34 year old Chiquita Tate, an ambitious and rising affluent criminal defense attorney in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. After being discovered brutally murdered in her office, investigators first believed that her death was the result of a robbery gone wrong, but pretty quickly it became clear that this was no robbery- Chiquita was targeted. Her husband, Greg Davis (or Harris, depending on the sources), told investigators everything they needed to know about the timeline of their night in hopes of helping them solve the case and deliver his wife the justice she deserved. However, it became clear that someone was leaving out important details about this timeline, which would eventually lead investigators to their suspect. If you or someone you know is a victim of Domestic Violence- there is help available. To contact the National Domestic Violence Hotline in the US, call 800-799-7233 or text START to 88788. If you are unable to call or text and need another way of getting help, you can send a letter to Creeps and Crimes PO Box 11523 KNOXVILLE, TN 37939 with details, a return address, a safe phone number, and what you need from us. We will not message you or send a letter back, instead we will reach out to resources in your area and do our best to get you the help that you need. Sending light and love to all of the besties! See you next week for Ep 150 with a special surprise! Today, Morgan will listen in as Taylar covers the highly requested 1977 case of The Oklahoma Girl Scout Murders. This case is not suitable for all listeners, we highly suggest that you consider the gravity prior to listening and make sure that you are in a place to listen. TW: R, SA, Sodomy, Torture, Bondage, Crime Scene Details, Autopsy Findings, all concerning three young children. Trigger Warning Timestamps: 31:48-33:38 42:30-43:00 Disclaimer: 52:08 1hour and 16mins- 1hour and 18mins On June 12, 1977, 8 year old Lori Lee Farmer, 9 year old Michele Heather Guse, and 10 year old Doris Denise Milner said goodbye to their families as they loaded the buses for Camp Scott. The next morning, their bodies were discovered 150 yards from their tent. After one of the largest manhunts in Oklahoma History, investigators captured Gene Leroy Hart, the primary suspect in the murders. However, the more information that came out about what led investigators to Hart, the more suspicious many became about Hart being a suspect. To this day, the case remains open, yet unsolved. Recent developments in the case prove that investigations are taking place and hopefully, one day, these three girls will receive the justice that they deserve. To skip the heavy details of this crime please avoid the following timestamp: 29 mins 35 seconds - 31 mins 11 seconds. In addition to two other sections that will only require you to skip 90 seconds or less. To follow along with photos and maps, please go to our Instagram (@creepsandcrimespodcast) and locate the episode announcement post for EP 148. Thank you for listening, if you would like to watch the documentary "Keeper of the Ashes" Taylar refers to throughout this case, you may do so on Hulu. Happy Thursday Besties!!! We have SO much to catch up on and new stories that came from the VAULT in our memories!! Today Morgan starts us off by covering the Egg Theory, originally written by Andy Weir as a Sci-Fi short story titled: The Egg, has turned into a theory concerning the structure of our universe and captured the minds of so many! Hold on to everything you know, because this one gets deep! To read the Egg for yourself, go to: http://www.galactanet.com/oneoff/theegg_mod.html Next, Taylar covers the 1978 case of Theresa Allore. Theresa was 19 years old, attending Chaplain College in Lennoxville, Quebec, Canada when she disappeared on Nov. 3, 1978. After years of searching for answers and fighting for the criminal justice system to admit it's failures, Theresa's family has been forced to investigate Theresa's case on their own. During which they uncovered many other women who were attacked, murdered, or reported missing in this area in the late 70s, was this the doing of a serial predator in the area that worked as an informant for police? There are so many unanswered questions, tons of suspects and various theories as to what happened to Theresa Maria Allore. To learn more, please read Wish You Were Here by John Allore and Patricia Pearson, listen to John Allore's Podcast: Who Killed Theresa?, and visit https://theresaallore.com/ Thanks so much for tuning in this Thursday! Do not be a mirror, be an energy laundering queen besties!! PERIOD! Happy Thursday!!  Today Morgan starts us off by covering the Ghost of Cock Lane... yes, we know it sounds kind of dirty, but that is because IT IS! A 1700s Loan Officer seems to carry a curse that causes every woman he has ever loved to die, while also getting scammed time and time again! Before he knows it, Will finds himself at the center of a paranormal investigation from the Scratchy Fanny, but we prefer the underground shoemaker DJ of Cock Lane! Find out why Aunt Mary continued to lose it, and five people went to jail for defamation before you tell us what the heck you think was going on down Cock Lane! Taylar then wraps us up with the final part of Mike William's case after leaving us on a massive cliff hanger last week! After 18 years of searching for the truth, his mother, Cheryl was able to "make a deal with the devil" (as according to Investigators that made the deal for her) in order to bring her son justice and learn the TRUTH of what happened all those years ago!  WE LOVE YOU, BESTIES! Armstrong or Buzz.  Taylar then covers Part 1 (I know I am sorry, just trust me, okay?) of Mike William’s case from Lake Seminole, FL December 16, 2000.
