When Toyah Cordingley went to walk her dog at Wangetti Beach in 2018, it should have been an ordinary afternoon. Instead, investigators were left piecing together phone records, traffic footage, and movements that didn’t fully line up with what anyone expected. Allison tells the story of how the evidence unfolded and the detail that continued to raise questions about what happened on that beach.

When Army Private LaVena Johnson was found dead in Iraq, her family was told it was a suicide. What they uncovered in the weeks and years that followed raised difficult questions about the investigation, the evidence, and whether key details were overlooked. Allison carefully lays out what was documented, what was missing, and why her parents continue to challenge the Army’s conclusion.

When Timmothy Pitzen’s mother picked him up early from school in 2011, she said there was a family emergency, then spent several days traveling with him before being found dead in a motel room. She insisted in a note that her son was safe and would never be located, but the evidence investigators uncovered tells a more complicated story. Allison carefully traces those final movements and the details that still shape how his family understands the silence that followed.

James Bulger disappeared from a shopping center in Bootle in February 1993, and the case unfolded through CCTV, witness statements, and a growing realization that the usual assumptions did not apply. We walk through the moments that were missed in public, the inconsistencies in what people thought they saw, and what the investigation and trial later made clear while still leaving key questions unanswered. Allison guides the story carefully, grounding it in the details that shaped how this case was understood then and how it is argued about now.

In May 2019, 15-year-old Riley Crossman disappeared from her home in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia, sometime during an ordinary school night. What followed was a series of quiet red flags, overlooked moments, and conflicting statements that only became clear after Riley failed to show up for school. This episode closely examines the timeline inside the house, the unanswered texts, and the decisions that shaped the first critical hours of the investigation. Certain details did not line up from the very beginning, but it took time for anyone to understand why. Allison carefully walks through what was known, what was missed, and the detail that still raises the hardest questions.

This episode looks closely at how suspicion formed, how pressure was applied, and what happens when investigators become convinced too early. Allison brings the research and context that reveals the part of the story that was easiest to overlook.
