This week we have a talk with a special guest. Some know her from Londen and Autumn on Tiktok where she talks about her young daughter’s rare terminal illness. This week she talks to us about what that’s been like, what the diagnosis is, and how she’s been coping. This strong momma bear is finding so much support on that platform and we’re here to share her story.  We’re talking to Londen Tabor and this is one bridge who refuses to fall down. 

For dinner this week, Cindy made us Dr. Pepper BBQ Ribs with baked macaroni and cheese. This meal was finger licking good. For dessert, she made a blueberry ricotta cake in honor of Londen’s Jersey roots. Our wine was Chateau Ducasse Bordeaux Blanc, a dry white wine with a slightly tropical taste.

This week we share stories of murder within the talk show circuit. If you’ve ever wondered what happened after the guests aired their dirty laundry, well we will tell you. It doesn’t end pretty sometimes. Nydia shares the story of Ralf and Elenor Panitz who appeared on the Jerry Springer show along with Ralf’s ex-wife Nancy Campbell. The night of the show’s airing something tragic happens that no one saw coming.  Dana shares the story of Scott Amadure who was murdered after revealing his secret crush on the Jenny Jones Show. For dinner this week, Cindy with a trash tv 90s meal. We had homemade hamburger helper. Does it get anymore 90s than that? For dessert, she made a delicious homemade Viennetta ice cream cake. This week we share stories of bodybuilder murderers. These physically fit specimens let themselves go emotionally and things went very wrong. Nydia shares the story of husband and wife bodybuilders, Craig Michael Titus and Kelly Ryan, who brutally tortured and murdered their assistant Melissa James.  Dana shares the story of Tank Hafertepen’s death. For dinner this week, Cindy made us an insanely delicious salad that included grilled Jerk chicken, goat cheese, craisins, and a honey dijon dressing that we’re still drooling over. This week we share stories of real vampires. Please accept our apologies ahead of time because this episode is gory! Nydia shares the story of Fritz Haarmann. Known as the Vampire of Hanover, the Butcher of Hanover, or the Werewolf of Hanover, he was a multi tool player in the world of vampirism. He lured young men and boys and then did the unthinkable. Dana shares the story of Enriqueta Marti. She didn’t just kidnap children, she also drank their blood and made cosmetics out of them. Cindy tells us about a lesbian vampire by the name of Tracey Wigginington, who took part in one of Australia’s most bizarre murder. 

For dinner this week, Cindy made us German Goulash, a savory meat stew. We promise it doesn’t contain human parts. For dessert, she made strawberry heart shaped pies with chocolate covered pretzel stakes through them. Fun and delicious! Spring is finally here and we want to celebrate so this week we focus on the terrible things that happen when we venture out into the woods in search of nature. Why do we do this to ourselves knowing full well that nature hates us? Nydia shares the story of Mostly Harmless, a Appalachian Trail hiker who was discovered dead in his tent. We just uncovered the mystery in January! Who was he? Why did he hide his identity? Nydia answers all. Dana shares the story of the disappearance of Barbara Bolick. Two went in and only one came out. This should’ve been an easy case but the mystery surrounding her disappearance hinges on two men who can’t or won’t be found. Cindy shares a story about a close call in the woods. 

For dinner this week, Cindy made us camping breakfast burritos. For dessert, she made campfire skillet Oreo cinnamon buns. The meal was paired with La Marca Prosecco which we mixed with orange juice as a mimosa. It was a real treat!

We are celebrating St. Patrick’s Day on the podcast this week by sharing some stories straight out of Ireland. Dana tells us of the female pirates of Ireland, Anne Bonny and Mary Read. For dinner this week, Cindy cooked up Chicken Paprikash. This creamy chicken and Basmati rice was worth going back for seconds.  For dessert, she made us a carrot cake that made Dana change her mind about carrots as a dessert forever. Both recipes were found on Immaculate Bites. The meal was paired with 19 Crimes Hard Chard. An interesting Chardonnay that tends to be on the sweeter side.
