The families of the four University of Idaho students that Bryan Kohberger pleaded guilty to murdering are suing Washington State University — the school where Kohberger was studying criminology and working as a teaching assistant. Akon, the singer and philanthropist, was arrested in November 2025 on a bench warrant in the parking lot of a window tint business. Karen Young, 38, faces a child endangering charge after police say she allowed a man living with her to whip her 8-year-old, developmentally challenged son with a belt. Autopsy results for the woman found dead in a Dollar Tree freezer last December in Miami are in and are adding to the mystery surrounding her death.
