Nicole Mitchell was caught hiding in the basement of her stepmother's home in April 2024 after breaking in dressed in all black and holding a flashlight with a sock over it. Mitchell was apparently upset over being left out of her late father's will and claimed she was looking for some items she wanted because her stepmother wouldn't return her calls. Mitchell, a Minnesota State Senator, was charged with burglary and went on trial earlier this month. Law&Crime's Angenette Levy goes through the body-worn camera footage in this episode of Crime Fix — a daily show covering the biggest stories in crime.

Nearly three months before Bryan Kohberger murdered four University of Idaho students, a sheriff's deputy stopped him for speeding less than two miles from the house at 1122 King Rd. Prosecutors planned to use the traffic stop at Kohberger's trial and his defense team objected to it. Following Kohberger's sentencing, the traffic stop video is now public. Law&Crime's Angenette Levy breaks down why the video matters and details all of the lies Kohberger told following the murders and his strange behavior in this episode of Crime Fix — a daily show covering the biggest stories in crime.

Moscow Police Chief Anthony Dahlinger was a captain with the department in November 2022 when four University of Idaho students were found murdered on King Rd. His years of experience didn't prepare him for what he saw when he walked into the house where Maddie Mogen, Kaylee Goncalves, Xana Kernodle and Ethan Chapin had been murdered. Now that Bryan Kohberger has been sentenced to four consecutive life sentences for the murders, Dahlinger is talking about the case. Law&Crime's Angenette Levy spoke with Dahlinger about some theories and more in this episode of Crime Fix — a daily show covering the biggest stories in crime.

When Bryan Kohberger agreed to plead guilty to the murders of four University of Idaho students, he agreed to waive all appeals in exchange for the death penalty being taken off the table. But an Idaho case that went to the U.S. Supreme Court actually allows Bryan Kohberger to file an appeal. Law&Crime's Angenette Levy talks with former court-appointed counsel Philip Dubé about the case and the consequences of Kohberger doing so in this episode of Crime Fix — a daily show covering the biggest stories in crime.

Bryan Kohberger sat still and listened intently as family members and friends of the four University of Idaho students he murdered called him a loser, pathetic and a psychopath. He also listened as the victims' loved ones described their loss, pain and grief. Kohberger only uttered three words during the hearing but his facial expressions and body movement spoke volumes. Law&Crime's Angenette Levy sits down with body language expert Susan Constantine to analyze it all in this episode of Crime Fix — a daily show covering the biggest stories in crime.

James Fry was the chief of the Moscow Police Department in November 2022 when four University of Idaho students were murdered in a home near campus. Fry had investigated homicides before but nothing like this. He immediately knew his department needed help as the case thrust the small town into the international spotlight. The competence of the department was questioned. Then, more than six weeks later, Bryan Kohberger was arrested in Pennsylvania. Law&Crime's Angenette Levy talks with Fry about the case and Kohberger's sentencing and what he would say to him in this episode of Crime Fix — a daily show covering the biggest stories in crime.

The Moscow Police Department released a trove of investigative reports that detail interviews with witnesses and tips about potential suspects in the Idaho Murders investigation. The reports also include new information from interviews of the surviving roommates, evidence found at the scene and things Bryan Kohberger said to a Tinder date. Police and prosecutors also answered some questions about the investigation following the sentencing. Law&Crime's Angenette Levy goes through the details in this episode of Crime Fix — a daily show covering the biggest stories in crime.
