In this episode Amber covers the murder of Amber Belken. On January 29, 2007, Amber Belken was found murdered in the back of a game store where she worked as the manager. The store looked like it had been ransacked and that the crime had started as a robbery. This was one of the only stores in this franchise that didn't have cameras, and the morning routine of the store manager included taking all of the money out of the safe and going to the bank. Investigators believe that the suspect must be an employee or a former employee who was familiar with these details.

In this episode,  Erika covers the tragic story of 67 year old Michelle O’Dowd.  Michelle was known by her close family and friends as Aunt Miki and is said to have been “the sweetest, kindest person who would never hurt a fly”. Christmas was her favorite time of the year, which makes her story even sadder.  Her life ended brutally when a family friend, Patty Michelle White, decided to steal, beat and strangle her on December 2, 2011 in her home that Patty once lived in with Michelle.

Then Amber covers the chaos that was Y2K.  Y2K was a computer bug, that may have caused problems when dealing with dates that exceeded December 31, 1999. When complicated computer programs were being written during the 1960s through the 1980s, computer engineers used a two-digit code for the year. The "19" was left out. The fear of Y2K was that these systems would read the year 2000 as "00" or as "1900" which may have caused a complete catastrophe, particularly with the financial systems.

In this weeks episode, Amber covers the murder of Carly Scott. Carly, who went by Charli, was a beautiful and vibrant young woman. At 22-years old, she was living on the island of Maui and that is where she met and fell in love with 19-year old Steven Capobianco. Charli was captivated by Steven and even though Steven was more than happy to use Charli for sex and attention, he didn't return the feelings of love and admiration. So in 2014, when Steven found out that Charli was pregnant he became enraged.

Erika covers the story of the Covina Christmas Massacre.  On December 24, 2008 the day of celebration started like any other for the Ortega Family Christmas party.  Joseph and Alicia Ortega invited about 25 people including there children James, Charles, Leticia, Alicia and Sylvia and their families over to their house for an evening of Christmas fun, even a late night game of Texas Hold 'Em.  Around 11:30pm the party would turn into a horrific scene after their was a knock at the front door.  The first person to the door was 8 year old Katrina Yuzefpolsky, the daughter of Leticia. She screamed with excitement when she saw  Santa Claus at the front door, carrying a big present.  Sadly, Santa Claus was not their to bring Joy and Christmas Cheer.  The man in the Santa suit was Sylvia's ex-husband Bruce Pardo and he was there to wreak havoc and pain upon the Ortega family, and that's exactly what he did. In this weeks episode, Erika covers the case of a  missing young man named Joshua “Josh” Maddux, from Woodland Park, Colorado.  Josh was a creative, artistic and loveable young man. He was all about nature and loved to take long walks in the area around his home.  On May 8, 2008, when he told his older sister that he was going for one of his walks, she didn’t think anything of it.  Sadly, Josh would not return home that evening and it would be 7 years before they would find him.

Then Erika cover one of the largest abduction cases in history. In Chowchilla, California at  the Dairyland Elementary School, a  bus was carrying 26 students and their bus driver Frank Edward “Ed” Ray.  The children were excited to spend time away from summer school and to enjoy a day of swimming, playing and hanging out with their friends at the Chowchilla Fairground, and headed back home in the late afternoon. While Ed Ray was safely driving them back on the bus, they came across a van parked in the middle of the road.  Ed got out of the bus thinking that they might have broken down, but instead he encountered 3 armed men.  They took over the bus and would drive 11 hours to a quarry.

TThis week Erika covers the story of the Wineville Chicken Coop Murders. In 1926, Gordon Stewart Northcott, murdered 4 young boys with some help from his mother Sarah, and his young nephew Sanford. Sanford.  The nephew was forced to partake of the disposing of the victims. 3 of the young boys were buried in a chicken coop, on their chicken ranch in Wineville, CA, while the 4th victim was killed and disposed of elsewhere. The victims were Walter Collins, Lewis and Nelson Winslow and Alvin Gothea. There is even a side story regarding Walter Collins, where a runaway tried to claim to be the missing boy, but was found to be a fraud.

Then Amber tells the story of the worst date ever. Gina Allen and Brandon Day met on MySpace in 2006. After only 2 weeks of dating, Brandon invited Gina to join him on a business trip to a resort in Palm Springs. On one of the last days of this trip, they decided to take a day trip to Mt San Jacinto.  The couple decided to wander away from the tour group and explore the mountain.  Brandon and Gina find themselves lost in the wilderness  and having to band together as a team even though they are practically strangers.

This week Amber covers the disappearance and murder of Holly Bobo. Holly was born on October 12, 1990 to parents Dana and Karen Bobo. She had an older brother, Clint and they were a loving, tight-knit family. On April 13, 2011, Holly disappeared from her families home in Decatur County, Tennessee. She was last seen by her brother, Cint in the carport of the family home shortly before 8:00 am. She was never seen alive again. What happened to beautiful Holly Bobo?

On this week’s episode, Erika covers the stories of two, YES two different cannibals.  The first story is of Joe Metheny. Joe grew up in Maryland with his mother and 5 siblings. After high school, Joe joined the Navy and would end up dabbling in heroin and sadly became addicted.  This changed him in many ways and led to the dark life he would soon lead. For a very long time, Joe was able to get away with murder after murder, all while running his very own BBQ Roadside stand. Hmm…Think about that!  YUCK

Then Erika dives into the story of Egyptian Model Omaima Nelson, born in Cairo, Egypt and then immigrated to the US in 1986. She met William “Bill” Nelson in October of 1991 and only after knowing him for a few days they got married. By the end of November their marriage and relationship were falling apart. Per Omaima, Bill constantly sexually assaulted her from the get-go and she finally had enough of Bill. So, she would take the idea of Thanksgiving leftovers to a whole new level in her own way of solving the problem.

This week Erika covers the murder suicide of Dorothy Stratten and her deranged husband Paul Snider.  Dorothy was a beautiful, shy and sweet young girl of only 17 when Paul met her at her local Dairy Queen.  He knew he could make her a star, so he convinced Dorothy to send nude photos to Playboy Magazine and she immediately caught the eye of Hugh Hefner and the whole Playboy team.  Dorothy would gain the title of Playmate of the Month and then the title of Playmate of the year.  This notoriety led her straight into acting as well, where she would land role after role in her first year of being in LA.  Paul couldn’t handle that he was getting left behind and that she didn’t NEED him anymore. Then Amber tells 2 chaos stories of horrific accidents that were near fatal. Christina Jahriz was a busy working mom. It was the first week of school and she was rushing around to get both of her kids off to school in time to make it to her meeting. Just when she thought she would be on time, her daughter called her to tell her that she left her saxophone at home and needed it for the day. Christina knew that she would never make her meeting, so as she is racing to drop off the saxophone at her daughters school, she sends a text message out informing her friend that she would be late. She only looked down at her phone for a second. Then Sampson Parker, a full time construction supervisor, has his own 50 acre farm in Kershaw County, South Carolina. Farming is his hobby and Sampson loves it. But farming equipment can be very dangerous, especially when you are farming alone, with no other houses around and your farm isn't visible from the road.
