Criminology

On Friday, July 14th, 2023, 59-year-old Rex Andrew Heuermann was arrested for several unsolved murders. Heuermann has so far been charged with three murders. But, these murders are part of a cold case or a set of cold cases commonly referred to as the Gilgo Beach murders, the Long Island Serial Killer, or LISK for short.

Join Mike and Morf as they discuss this breaking news on what has been a highly discussed topic in the true crime community for many years. The evidence against Rex Heuermann for the three murders appears on the surface to be very solid. But there are a lot of questions to answer, even after his guilt or innocence is decided. How many more murders could Rex Heuermann be responsible for, and is he alone the perpetrator of these cold cases? If he is only responsible for what he has been charged with, how many other serial killers were operating in that area during that timeframe?
