The dust is settling after the Senate Banking Committee pulled a crucial vote on a key piece of crypto legislation last week. This week, we take the pulse of industry leaders to see where things stand, what went wrong, and when — if ever — the bill could move forward.
First up, we’re joined by Blockchain Association CEO Summer Mersinger to get her take on the Senate Agriculture Committee — the other committee writing crypto rules — as it releases new legislative text ahead of its own vote next week.
We’ll also hear from a16z general counsel Miles Jennings on the firm’s view of the process, and why founder Chris Dixon publicly backed pushing the Clarity Act through Senate Banking even as Coinbase pulled its support.
Finally, we wrap with Gabe Dinari, CEO of tokenization platform Dinari, on what all of this means for markets and real-world asset adoption.
Carlos Domingo is the co-founder and CEO of Securitize. In this conversation, we talk about how tokenization has taken over crypto and is now pushing into traditional finance, as the NYSE announces a new on-chain venue for trading tokenized equities. We also dig into the Clarity Act, Carlos’s take on Coinbase pulling support for the market structure bill, Securitize’s plan to go public with Cantor Equity Partners at a $1.25 billion valuation, and what’s next for RWAs and DeFi.

Austin Campbell is the co-founder of Zero Knowledge Group and an adjunct professor at NYU Stern. As the market structure vote nears, he shares a contrarian take on why he believes the bill is unlikely to pass.
A leading voice on stablecoins, Austin unpacks what the implementation of the GENIUS Act could mean for institutions, weighs in on the the banks-versus-crypto stablecoin yield debate, how U.S. regulation stacks up globally, and what the U.S. must do to remain the crypto capital even if the legislation falls short. He also dives into ZK proofs, why institutions are still hesitant to adopt them, and the risk-mitigation lessons he’s bringing to crypto from his background in traditional finance.
