Guest Marielle Jauring shares her extensive cycle touring experiences having travelled over 90,000kms on her bike tours across various continents.

Marielle recounts her initial motivation for bike touring, starting with a trip across America, and her subsequent journeys in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Europe, and Asia. She discusses the challenges of navigating through different countries, including a dramatic encounter with Russian border police and the unexpected kindness of strangers.

I especially loved  hearing about Marielle’s unique adventures, such as petting a drunk bear in Canada, witnessing the Northern Lights, and exploring Turkey’s coloured mountains.
