Dave Moore

This week our Cathal has been set the task of walking from his hometown of Cashel all the way to the Today FM offices in Dublin in just two and a half days.

Dermot and Dave checked in with him on day two of his voyage, when he must race against the clock to make it from Ballybrittas in Laois to the Curragh in Kildare.

Walking is the most common form of exercise - but why is it so good for us?

TV exercise expert and DCU's Professor Niall Moya joined Dermot and Dave to discuss the benefits of getting your steps in.

Have you heard Harvey Norman's ads recently? They've gone a bit left of field...

Look no further than Say Stuff That Suits the Music, where Dave plays Dermot pieces of music he's never heard before and Dermot says something gas.

In the latest installment of Challenge Cathal, the lads set the man himself the task of walking from his hometown of Cashel to Marconi House.

He will cover 150km in just two and a half days and race against the clock to reach a predetermined check point by sundown every evening.

Dermot and Dave checked in as Cashel sent him off and again from the road.

A once-in-a-lifetime green comet not seen since the Stone Age is making its closest approach to Earth.

It’ll look brightest against the night sky tonight and tomorrow night.

Space commentator Leo Enright joined Dermot and Dave with all the details on how to see it.

"The only time of the week that matters" - Dave on Dave's World.

Dermot and Dave bring you yet another helping of toe-curling clangers. Some resemble funny jokes, press the play button and enjoy.

Our Dermot has hit the road to spread the gifts of mindfulness and laughter with his tour Mind Full.

With one show in Dublin under his belt, he will take Letterkenny, Belfast and Louth by (a very gentle, mindful) storm this weekend.

He updated Dave with how he was getting on...

This installment of Dave's World was inspired by none other than our Dermot.

It involved Sean Reidy jumping from chairs and Dave recollecting the history of the famous Apache leader Geronimo.

Omniplex Cinemas, the largest cinema chain in Ireland, are looking for a Junior Film Booker.

This supremely rare role - there are less than 10 film bookers across Ireland! - entails choosing which movies get shown in the cinemas!

Mark Anderson, Director of Omniplex Cinema Group told Dermot and Dave all about the position and how to apply.

In March 2020, comedian Anna Clifford found herself in a state of existential crisis.

So she did what any normal person would do - she went on a spiritual pilgrimage to an Air Bnb in Meath to visit a Shaman.

Safe to say things went from bad to worse, but at least she got a comedy show out of it.

She gave Dermot and Dave the low down on this week's installment of What's The Story.
