  • How You Can Support Vulnerable Children During The Covid 19 Crisis
There's no doubt that this year has been incredibly difficult for all of us, but there are thousands of children around the country who have found themselves in a more vulnerable position than ever before.
We all need to look out for those vulnerable young people, children and their families, who have found themselves without the usual access to support networks which have been disrupted by the public health crisis.
Supporting Children is a campaign which highlights the various services which are available to these children, their families and the wider community.
Tanya Ward,  Chief Executive of Children’s Rights Alliance joined Dermot and Dave to explain what supports are out there and to remind people of the importance of contacting the relevant authorities if you have a concern about a young person.

  • Would You Move From A City To Rural Ireland?
There's no denying the fact that things have changed fundamentally over the past year, Covid has proved to many that working from home is not only a distant and future possibility but a way of life.
It's hard for many people to fathom going back to paying high rents, or commuting long hours, to work in city centres.
Now, the Government wants to further incentivise people to make the move to rural Ireland. Changes to planning, state-subsidised hackneys and remote working hotspots are just some of the ideas expected to be included in the plan.
Speaking to Dermot and Dave, TodayFM's political correspondent Seán Defoe had more detail of what we can expect from the Government.
