This weekend there is a special documentary being aired called 'Finding Jack Charlton' and it's sure to bring back a few good memories for Irish soccer fans. It will also take a close look at the struggles Jack had in dealing with dementia in the final 18 months of his life.
For Maria's Telly, Producer Maria Devereux told Dermot and Dave what's on the box this weekend, including a very special Late Late Show in aid of Daffodil Day.

  • Meet The Limerick Yachtsman Who's Setting Sail Across The World

He will start from County Clare, down the Atlantic around the five great capes, and from South Africa to Australia, from Tasmania to New Zealand, and back to Kilrush in Clare. The most incredible thing about this voyage is that Peter will only use paper charts as his primary navigation tool.
Peter joined Dermot and Dave to talk them through his plans and how he's feeling about the trip.

  • Australian Prime Minister Slams 'Disgusting' Behaviour At Parliament Buildings
Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison has said that he is 'shocked and disgusted' after leaked footage revealed a group of male government staffers involved in lewd acts.
The videos and photos were released to Aussie media by a whistle-blower known only as 'Tom' and appeared to show one member of staff performing a sex act on the desk of a female lawmaker. There's also been reports of a culture of sharing explicit photos, using the building's prayer room for sex and even bringing sex workers into the offices of MPs.
It has been reported that one staff member has already been fired and the Prime Minister has called the behaviour 'disgusting' and 'sickening'.
The reports have put pressure on the Australian parliament who have already faced claims of bullying, harassments and rape.
Matthew Hepworth, news director with Mix 104.9 Radio Darwin, explained to Dermot and Dave about the allegations and what the reaction has been in Australia.

  • Denmark Plan To Mostly Reopen 'Once Over 50s Are Vaccinated'
Now that most countries in Europe have launched into their vaccination programmes, and we've seen places like the UK announce their plan for getting out of lockdown, there's a lot of questions about what will happen once more of the population get the jab.
One country to watch with interest will be Denmark. Their Government has announced that it has plans to lift the majority of restrictions once all people over the age of 50 have been vaccinated and have been issued with a 'vaccine passport'
Starting at the end of April, Danes who hold the vaccine passport will be able to visit museums and art galleries, get their hair done and by the beginning of May, concert venues and theatres plan to reopen.
Michael Barrett, editor with TheLocal.dk spoke to Dermot and Dave about the public reaction to the plans, and the likelihood of them happening as planned.
