It's a story that will sadly be all too familiar for many around the country. In April 2020, Mike Moloney was admitted to hospital with Covid-19, within a matter of hours he was in a high dependency unit and within a matter of days, he was on a ventilator.

Over the 21 weeks Mike spent in hospital, he encountered many medical challenges from infections to pneumonia and a collapsed lung. In August 2020, Mike left hospital and began his recovery.

Now, Mike's family are getting the runners on to thank the frontline staff who not only saved their Dad's life but were a constant source of support and help for them throughout the months of worry and fear.

Speaking to Dermot and Dave, Mike's daughter Fiona shared their incredible story and why they'll be running a marathon a week for 21 weeks to get the frontline staff treats like a spa day or a game of golf.

According to the National Weather Service, the chances of being struck by lightning is One in One million and Forty-Two Thousand.

Well, that’s what happened David Gilna back in 2004 and it sparked his creative journey, David joined Dermot and Dave to talk about what happened that day and how his life has changed ever since.

It's been a stressful time for all of us and even dentists are seeing the effects of it.

Irish dentists are reporting an increase in stress-induced teeth grinding as a result of the pandemic, leaving a lot of people suffering with everything from jaw and neck pain to cracked teeth and cavities.

Lead dentist at Northumberland Dental Care in Dublin, Jennifer Collins, joined Dermot and Dave with six steps to a stress free smile.

Kilfenora's own Padraig Howley has become an internet sensation with his 'Sing and Step with Padraig' Instagram account.

The Clare man went viral when he set up the account to document his lifestyle change which included going vegan, getting more steps in and having a bit of a sing song along the way.

Things are going very well for Padraig from making spicy curries to smashing his step count every day.
