  • Keith Barry Freaks The Bejaysus Out Of Us
It's always an interesting day in the office when Keith Barry pops in. Everyone is on tenterhooks and the tension is high.
Keith joined Dermot and Dave in studio ahead of his new tour with his show Insanity to show us a thing or two.
All we'll say is that there's a fish hook involved....

  • Dave's World
This week in Dave's world we delve into space travel and Dave shares a pretty freaky fact about people living in space.
It's all too much for a Wednesday morning and this much thinking mid-week should be illegal.
But all the same it's pretty mind boggling.

  • The Lowdown On The Young Offenders Series 2
We first met Conor and Jock in The Young Offenders film in 2016 and we fell in love with them instantly.
Following the success of the film, RTÉ commissioned a TV series of the same name which followed Conor, Jock and their fellow Corkonians.
The series was picked up by the BBC and series two of the hit show will air on Irish tv screens next Monday on RTÉ 2 at 9.30pm.
Dermot sat down with Alex Murphy, Chris Walley and Hilary Rose to hear what's in store in series two.

  • Say Stuff That Suits The Music
Every Wednesday Dermot continually surprises (and scares) us by revealing what's really going in in his head.
Dave cues up the music and Dermot says whatever he thinks suits those pieces of music.
This week's installment involved Irish Water, Kanye West and a brand new RTÉ tv series.

  • Should Primary Schools Get Rid Of Homework?
It was announced this morning that Loreto Primary School in Rathfarnham is trialling a "no-homework policy" for all students except for those in 6th class.
The idea behind the move is to destress pupils and put less pressure on them when they go home. Instead, the emphasis will be on classroom learning.
This no-homework policy divided opinions on the Dermot and Dave team this morning and it seems it was the same with listeners.
While some people support scrapping homework, others feel it is vital to independent learning.

  • Dave's World: Bad Jokes
On this bleak winter morning, it's always good to inject a bit of laughter into your day. And what better way to do that than with Dave's World: Bad Jokes.
While Dermot still maintains the jokes are simply awful, we think he secretly loves them.

  • This May Be The Most Outrageous Wedding Story We've Ever Heard
Your wedding is supposed to be a day of absolute bliss. A celebration of your love and commitment to each other. Or, in this case, a handy way to fund a holiday.
A woman due to get married recently updated her wedding guests on her big day. It turns out as she and her fiancé were financially strapped, the wedding was to be postponed - even though guests had been donating money to the couple to fund their big day.
Instead of saving the money and putting it towards the new wedding - the couple decided to use the donations to go on holiday.
This has to be heard to be believed. The story is still developing and family members and invitees are responding to the bride's announcement to question the decision.

  • Ireland Celebrates The Legend That Was Gay Byrne
Legendary broadcaster Gay Byrne sadly passed away yesterday after a battle with cancer.
Gay was one of the most notable voices in the history of Irish broadcasting, whether on TV or on the airwaves.
The Late Late Show was presented by Gay for 37 years from 1962 to 1999 and he also hosted the International Rose of Tralee Festival for 17 years.
This morning Dermot and Dave paid tribute to the broadcasting giant and honoured his memory by speaking to people who he had a profound effect on such as Pat Kenny, Paul McGrath, Dáithí Ó Sé and Louis Walsh.
