So my new favorite hobby is crying.
I’m mostly joking, but in this episode I discuss how I came to the realization that I’ve spent most of my life trying to avoid feeling feelings for more than a few reasons, and I overshare all of them.
Apparently ignoring feelings doesn’t make them go away, and they can actually be a gift. I’m still in mild disbelief, but I’m embracing that you got to feel to heal.
In this episode I discuss my personal experience with feelings and avoiding them, the purpose of feelings, and how we can use them as a guidance system.
I also share strategies that I’m currently using to practice feeling feelings.
