Why is it so acceptable to say you're triggered and yet not do anything about that wounding that is causing you to be triggered or reactive?

I dig into my own personal experience of this and shed a little perspective for you.

GRADE 10 - I had a teacher who educated my guitar class on the importance of learning from the past. He said we are doomed to repeat the same mistakes if we stay blind to the past.

We're using the flight policy of "put your oxygen mask on first" as an analogy today.
