Earlier this week the attorneys general of Maryland and Washington, DC, filed a lawsuit stating President Trump's continued ownership of his DC hotel violates the Constitution's Emoluments Clause. A day later, almost 200 congressional democrats also filed suit against the President for the Trump Organization continuing to accept foreign funds. Lawrence Noble, General Counsel of the Campaign Legal Center and Adjunct Professor at the George Washington University Law School, and Andy Grewal, Professor of Law at the University of Iowa, join host Dan Loney to discuss these law suits on Knowledge@Wharton.
