Join Jim Oliver as he sits down with Dennis Daughety, a veteran in the franchise development and ownership space. Dennis got his start in 2002 at Choice Hotels International where he sold brands such as Comfort Inn, Sleep Inn, Econo Lodge and Rodeway. From there he moved to the development department of Driven Brands selling Maaco franchises. While at a franchise broker conference in 2014, he was introduced to the salon suites concept and signed up as a franchisee with Phenix Salon Suites. They saw his value as a seasoned director of franchise sales and hired him on later that year. During his tenure with Phenix Salon Suites, he opened 4 locations which he currently operates in his spare time. Dennis also owns a publishing company, has owned a health insurance and a scheduling app company and is always looking for the next opportunity.
