This week on the podcast we start off with Andrew's Market Report for the week commencing 31st October 2022 (how is it nearly November?!) Farm chat comes in a slightly different format this week as we share some discussions had over a beer or two at the ECE Valencia earlier this month. Andrew & the Dewing Grain team are on a mission to shed some light on some of the other less prominent but very essential roles within the agriculture sector, so this week's farm chat consists of some mini discussions had with Chantal Ackerman & Fiona Jalil from CME Group and Jamie Gilbey from Amius on their roles within their companies and what their roles were at the bourse.

Andrew kicks off this week’s podcast with the market report for the week commencing 24th October, where Andrew has a classic rant regarding politics and being the best man to read the futures spread, compared to anyone else.
In Farmchat this week, Andrew is joined by Abigale Long, who has worked at Dewing Grain for 10 years now as a futures tender doing all our futures administration (we’re surprised she has put up with the guys for that long!). Abigale gives us a step-by-step guide to how she deals with tendering futures and what the entire process involves.

Josh also updates Ben and Andrew about what they have missed whilst being away and of course, it wouldn’t be the Dewing Grain podcast without a political rant! They also touch on their new-found fame as the team goes viral on Instagram… head to our Insta to see more – we’re @dewinggrain.

After celebrating our 200th episode last week, and reminiscing some of our favourite moments so far on the podcast, this week we have an extra special episode for you, as Andrew is joined by a celebrity!
As always Andrew kicks off the episode with the market report for the week commencing 12th September 2022, which includes a moment to remember Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II who sadly passed away late last week at her home in Balmoral.
In Farmchat this week, Andrew pays a visit to British Lion & England Rugby Player, Tom Youngs. The pair talk about everything from the first time Andrew met Tom (on a football field of all places) and Tom's incredible career for the Leicester Tigers to the year of extreme highs and lows Tom has experienced in 2022 and his love for farming and being back in Norfolk. We hope you enjoy this one just as much as Andrew did recording it!

Today we celebrate the 200th episode of the Dewing Grain Podcast! (We don’t know how we got here either). In celebration of the last 199, we have a special sequence in the podcast this week, so keep an ear out for that.
This week’s podcast kicks off with the market report for the week commencing 5th September 2022.
In the 200th farm chat, Andrew is joined by Ben and Ian to reminisce over how the podcast has grown since their self-confessed slightly wooden first episode! The guys look back at some of their highlights from features like ‘The Legend Series’ where they had some big names join the podcast including Paul Mint, Chocco, Jeremy Savage & Murray Ferguson and Andrew’s very informative ‘Education Series’.
Andrew’s questionable farmers’ wife impression makes another appearance (sorry in advance!) and he tells us about his confession to stealing beer at the Aylsham Show.
And finally, it wouldn’t be a Dewing Grain Podcast without the gang trying some beers, Moongazer - Jigfoot, The Rev James and Ringwood Brewery - Boondoggle are the beers of choice this week.
Some special thanks need to be given on this podcast, firstly to Suzy and Claire who whipped the team into shape from Episode 1 to make sure it wasn’t carnage from the get-go. Secondly, to all of our incredible guests over the last 200 episodes who have given our listeners hours of informative, entertaining and sometimes silly conversation - it wouldn’t be what it is without you! And lastly, to anyone who has gifted us a beer or two, cheers.
Dewing Grain would like to say a huge thank you to all their listeners, old and new who have kept listening, as they wouldn’t be where they are without you guys - we are @dewinggrain on Twitter.
