We start off this weeks episode with our market report for week commencing 14th December 2020, where Andrew gives his thoughts and feelings on the market for the week ahead and what's to come in the early part of 2021. As everyone starts the take their foot off the gas for Christmas things start to slow down, and Andrew suggests we need to ramp up the beer drinking (of course!).
The market report is followed by Farmchat, which this week is part of our education series, and on a topic dear to Andrew's heart. A brilliant episode for anyone new to trading as Andrew talks futures and their place in the marketplace. Something Andrew is very passionate about, (you’ll find this out quite quickly by the regular rants in this weeks episode) futures have gotten themselves a bad name amongst some accountants and Chief Exec’s but today Andrew is talking about what they actually are, the history of how they came to be and why they’re so important to the trade.
Thanks to all our listeners, old and new. Keep in touch - we are @dewinggrain on Twitter.

On this week's Farmchat, Andrew has a long overdue catch up with Webby after spending 14 days in isolation following a positive Covid-19 test. The boys discuss Webby’s time in isolation, what his symptoms were like and Webby tells us about the Synairgen Trial his parents are taking part in after also testing positive.
To find out more about the trial and if you can take part go to: https://www.synairgen.com/covid-19/
In other news, Andrew and Webby share their thoughts on the Aussie ‘monster crop’ and whether or not it will make it’s way into the UK markets. Brexit talks resume, and Webby goes over the comments made from President-Elect Joe Biden on the UK being at the back of the queue for a trade deal.
In a bumper episode, beer tasting makes a triumphant return, as Andrew and Webby are joined by Josh and Henry to try some Jubel Peach Beer, as well as some Bishops Finger.

However, this week the market report is followed by a very short Farmchat whereby Andrew pays tribute to his father, Richard George Dewing who sadly passed away earlier this week on Wednesday 21st October at the age of 89.
Andrew shares with us what an incredible man his father was, and the values and beliefs engrained in Andrew and his 4 siblings which he believes have been essential in making Dewing Grain the success it is today. Andrew intends to ensure his father's legacy lives on by sharing his core values with the Dewing Grain team and making sure they are always present in the business they continue to do.
