In this first episode of the three-part series “Influenza and Diabetes,” Drs. John Russell and Neil Skolnik discuss the epidemiology of influenza, the consequences of influenza for persons with diabetes, and current recommendations for vaccination.  In addition, they discuss issues to think about when organizing our approach to influenza vaccination for this upcoming influenza season.  In episode 2 of this series, Drs.
