In the latest episode of Diabetes Day by Day, hosts Dr. Neil Skolnik and Dr. Sara Wettergreen take a deep dive into strategies aimed at reducing the risk of progressing from prediabetes to type 2 diabetes. An astounding 1 in 3 American adults, nearly 98 million, are living with prediabetes. Alarmingly, 81% of them are unaware of their condition. This issue demands attention because, without intervention, many people living with prediabetes may progress to type 2 diabetes in as little as 5 years.
