The Multiple Listing Service is the lifeblood of the real estate agent.  But the processes and rules aren't always clear cut and easy to ascertain. For years agents have asked me why and how the MLS does certain things. This week I sat down with former Greater Greenville Association of REALTORS President and MLS Committee Chair, Matthew Thrift, to discuss important MLS issues that affect the real estate agent. We discussed pocket listings, "coming soon", wholesaling, agent credit for closings, Zillow and an array of other issues.
