Today, I’m sitting down with one of our own, Triad’s Head of New Member Outreach, Jordan Rigi.
For so many advisors, career success comes at the expense of family, relationships, and life. But it doesn’t have to – and Jordan’s here to prove it.
His new book, “Success is the Enemy” helps advisors examine their success, embrace their significance, and build something bigger than themselves.
In this episode, we dive into Jordan’s book and unpack the key lessons to achieving unlimited growth, freedom, and joy, in both your business and life.

Today, I’m joined by Adam Holt, the founder and CEO of Asset-Map, a fintech platform that helps advisors facilitate more meaningful conversations with clients by streamlining high-level data into a simple report.
Early in his career as an advisor, Adam was frustrated with the material available to him for client meetings. The overly detailed financial reports didn’t help clients make better decisions — they just made clients confused. To fix the problem, Adam created and introduced Asset-Map to his own practice, helping grow his AUM to nearly $1B in under a decade.
Today, you’ll hear why clients respond so well to simplicity in financial planning, how to use fintech to ask better questions in client meetings, and how to create a company culture that prioritizes life over business.

Today, I’m sitting down with Michelle Short, the COO of SHP Financial — a Triad member firm that manages more than $1B in assets.
In the years leading up to Michelle’s hiring in 2014, SHP was generating about $10M in annual new assets. Fast forward to 2022 and SHP was bringing in more than $250M in new assets, with roughly 32% of those assets coming via referrals. As the operations architect, Michelle has plenty of insights into how SHP scaled — and advice for those who want to do the same.
In this episode, you’ll hear how SHP streamlined its operations to allow for such rapid growth while easing advisor workloads. You’ll also learn about how to save team members from their personal “Drudge Zones,” how to evaluate both team members and clients for culture fit, and how to build referrals within your own practice.

Today, I’m speaking with education disrupter, Matt Beaudreau. In 2016, Matt launched Acton Academy Placer – an alternative to the traditional education model that’s reshaping how kids learn. It’s not a school, it’s a workforce.
After working his way from public school teacher to private school administrator, Matt got an up-close-and-personal view of the education system. He saw an opportunity to revamp education to prepare students to succeed at life — not just at standardized tests — and Acton Academy was born.
Kids learn hands-on through trial and error, self-awareness, self-confidence, perseverance, and the things they're actually passionate about.
More recently, Matt Co-Founded Apogee Strong – a specialized mentorship program designed specifically to shape young men into better providers and protectors.

In today’s episode, I’m talking with Sten Morgan, the founder of both Legacy Investment Planning and Elite Advisor Network, a community for financial professionals.
When Sten founded Legacy at age 25, he decided to do things a little differently. Instead of framing client conversations around products, Sten developed an advice-centric and value-first approach to financial planning. The approach led to rapid success, and Sten was named a “40 Under 40” advisor by Investment News at age 30.
Today, you’ll hear Sten pull back the curtain on how he provides value and advice to new and existing clients. You’ll also hear his best advice for generating referrals, how he handles his client fees, and the value of writing a book as a credibility funnel for your business.

Today, I’m talking with former CrossFit Games champion and family-first entrepreneur, Jason Khalipa.
As he worked his way to the top of the CrossFit world, Jason developed a hardened mindset, employing strategies to excel under pressure, ultimately earning him the badge of unshakable confidence.
After winning the CrossFit Games in 2008, Jason opened up a single gym, and has since scaled to 20 locations worldwide.
In this episode, not only does Jason share his best advice for growing a business, but you’ll also learn about the value of serving a defined niche, how to keep a level head as a leader, and how to give your kids a great life without accidentally spoiling them.

Today, we’re doing things a little differently. Instead of our usual interview, we’re recording the pod LIVE from Future Proof – the world’s largest wealth festival.
If you’re unfamiliar, it’s a 4-day event that brings together top professionals from the wealth management ecosystem to provide insights, workshops, panel discussions, and exclusive networking opportunities, driving growth and innovation in the industry.
And instead of a stuffy conference room, the event happens entirely outdoors, beachside in sunny California, making it a pretty unforgettable experience.
I’m joined on stage with our Chief Product Officer, Kristin Shea, and Triad Member, Clayton Alexander, who is the founder of Teton Wealth Group.
We’re talking all about one of the biggest struggles we see in our industry, the transition from the “advisor in charge” who is constantly grinding, to a business owner and CEO who empowers their team to scale the business.

We’ve got a special one lined up for you today! I’m talking to Triad’s Chief Product Officer, Kristin Shea, who has been helping build and shape our company since day one.
If you’re in financial services, you’ve likely already come across Kristin on LinkedIn, a platform she leaned into and leveraged early on to connect and build relationships directly with advisors. In fact, this is where I discovered her AND why I pushed so hard to recruit her!
Over the years, Kristin has amassed a significant following through her authenticity and ability to create advisor-focused content that adds value and serves our community at the highest level.
Her continued success is rooted in helping advisors do one thing: build a practice that blesses your life instead of becoming it.
She’s also the author of The Truth About Digital Marketing for Financial Advisors: How to Create a Magnetic, Authentic Brand that Unlocks Unparalleled Growth for Your Firm – go grab a copy here!

Today, I’m talking with John Israel, the founder and Chief Gratitude Officer of Mr. Thank You.
After building a successful sales career, John realized he was struggling to appreciate his life. In an attempt to reconnect with gratitude, he decided to write 5 thank you cards a day for 365 days, and that decision completely transformed his life. What started as an experiment, turned into a coaching business that teaches high-performers how to tap into appreciative leadership.
In this episode, you’ll learn all about the power of gratitude and how to use it to create a culture of connection with your clients and team, strengthen retention, reduce burnout, and achieve extraordinary opportunities in both your business and life.

Today, I’m chatting with Leore Avidar, the founder of Alt—a sports cards collectibles platform that makes it simple for investors to buy and sell authenticated, investment-grade trading cards.
What was once seen as a hobby, has turned into an alternative asset class that serves a ~$15 billion market, expected to rise to $49 billion by 2032.
In this episode, Leore and I geek out on our love for sports card collecting and talk about his approach to starting and scaling multiple businesses.
