Do Go On

In search of fame and fortune, Donald Crowhurst enters The 1968 Sunday Times Golden Globe Race Around the World - a competition for the first person to solo circumnaviagate the world without stopping.

However, unlike the rest of the field, Crowhurst is not a highly qualified sailor. He decides to mortgage his house and business in order to build his own boat for the 30,000 mile journey. When things don't go well at sea, he begins to lie about his position in the race... But will his huge lie catch up with him?

Dave reports on this crazy story, recorded live at The Melbourne Comedy Festival.

Our second live show for the MICF 2018 was an absolute HOOT! This is a fun epsiode about a strange, sad and kind of creepy topic - The Gibbons Twins. These identical twins refused to speak, and loved and loathed each other equally. There's mystery and death and a lot of tangents on our part.

It was supposed to be a prison for the baddest of the bad, an inescapable complex for POWS that had escaped every other jail... But the inmates didn't get the memo. Dave reports on the many escape attempts from Colditz Castle, a formidabble Second World War POW camp in Germany. Tunnels, Gliders, Disguises, False Walls, Fake Keys and more... These are some of the most daring and intriciate escapes ever attempted.

Dave reports on what was possibly the most braizen assassination attempt of all time. Robert Catesby, Guy Fawkes and a rag tag of their Catholic pals plot to blow up the King and the whole of the British parliament in fell swoop. Can they pull it off? Or is there another reason we must "Remember, remember the fifth of November"?
