Welcome to the "Date Your Wife" podcast, where spicy real topics in marriage are discussed. On this week's episode, we're talking about the importance of couples' getaway trips, lots of sex, and learning how to communicate positivity to your partner. Being each other's support and cheerleading goes both ways. Words, validation, are crucial inside of a relationship, focusing on gratitude versus the little things that bug you, but really don't matter.
In the last year, we wanted to take our marriage from being good to great, so we committed to doing therapy every single week. We didn't wait until things got spicy or felt like things needed to get fixed. We chose to do therapy once a week as a working hour on our marriage. You go to the gym to work your body, you read and study to work your mind. Why wouldn't you set aside specific time to work on your marriage?
