I had a plan when I started this conversation with my friend and colleague, Eli Weinstein. I figured we would begin with speaking about mental health awareness and segue into teens and anxiety, but all bets were off!
As a licensed therapist and the host of The Dude Therapist Podcast, Eli is a seasoned pro, so we chatted like old friends and touched on so many incredible (and necessary) topics.
Eli is one of those people; so passionate, engaging. I never really know where our conversation is going to go! I vibe off his energy- hang on to his every word, respect his opinions- excited to hear what "thought nugget" he will share next.
Y'all are lucky with this one, so incredibly lucky. We hit it all: from anxiety to gender stereotypes, the effect of social media on teenagers, to the stress of parenting.
Thank you, Eli Weinstein, for joining me, destigmatizing mental health issues, and debunking some of the myths and misconceptions surrounding mental health.

I love having my colleagues from the dating and relationship world on the show; it's vital to have different points of view, especially when the rules of relationships have changed so drastically as of late.
Meet my friend and fellow dating coach, Elizabeth Overstreet, the Love Strategist. As a published author, keynote speaker, and relationship expert, we have so much in common, and our conversation is packed full of actionable value!
"Observing these experiences gave me a unique look into my lens and experience in a relationship and those of others who had longevity and happiness in their relationships. Through these experiences and coaching others in their relationships, I hope to shorten your learning curve of what it takes to find love. Finding love can be challenging, but it can be more comfortable when you understand what works and doesn't work."
~Elizabeth Overstreet

Ever asked your kid a bunch of questions you didn't really want the answers to?
Ya, well, try that on a podcast with over 150K people listening. Ha.
But boy did he surprise me.
Zac was incredibly mature; self-aware and empathetic, he spoke with such conviction. I had a difficult time composing myself at times during the interview.
Zac amazed me...so brave.
So smart.
This is an important discussion that no parent should miss--even if you're not divorced. Kids say the darndest things when you ask them to be honest. When you give them the space to be authentic and when they feel secure.
I've never been more proud of my kid.
Please share this episode with anyone you know going through, thinking about, or on the other side of a divorce. It's an important and necessary conversation to hear.

I am thrilled to have Saskia Nelson, the founder of Hey Saturday, on the pod today!
Saskia has been credited by Time magazine, the BBC, and world-renowned photographer, Martin Parr for creating this genre of dating photography. As the world's first online dating photographer. Saskia is recognized as the leading industry expert in the UK, Europe & US on all things online dating photo-related. Rather than a formal, portrait-style photoshoot, our dating photoshoots are more like an adventure with a good friend.
"Hey, Saturday helps you create powerful dating profiles by enabling you to visually share the story of who you are. The more stories you can tell with your online dating pictures, the more you'll be able to show people what it's like to be in a relationship with you."
What's Saskia's Story?
She spent many years online dating (until meeting her bf of many years on Guardian Soulmates). She spotted a gap in the market for a niche online dating photography business specializing in creating dating profile photos for online daters.
"For anyone doing online dating, creating a great set of visuals for your profile once you've spent a bit of time figuring out what you're into, how you'd like to come across, etc., can be a great resource to have at the ready. It's also a fun experience that often boosts confidence and gets people in the right frame of mind to have positive dating experiences." ~ Saskia Nelson
Saskia is the founder of Hey Saturday, the world's first specialist dating photography agency. They help clients create a set of dating profile pictures that help them visually tell people who they are and what they're made of.
