Part 1 of 2--Today are thrilled to introduce you to listener Hannah King! She is an amazing human being and we are so honored to have her come on the podcast for a coaching session. She approached us about coaching around her relationship with her partner and specifically around sex. This is a topic so many of us struggle with and we hear from our listeners that they are dealing with major issues with their partners. When you want a rich and juicy life you need to have relationships that are rich and juicy. So how do you get there?
Thank you Hannah for your bravery and honesty! We are amazed by your willingness to share.
A production note...we apologize for the strange sounds on this episode...some banging and weird sort of echo sound that occurs frequently. We try to edit out as much background weirdness as possible but unfortunately the sounds on today's episode could not be edited out without messing with the interview and losing a lot of the verbiage. I was close to punting the whole thing but in the end I felt like the coaching call and information provided was way too important for you all to miss. Thank you for your understanding!
A little info about Hannah with her bio--
My name is Hannah, but family has always called me ‘B’, or ‘Hannah B’. I am a brave mama, just like you, discovering my true north and paving my path to a life of my own design. This transforming journey has been enlivened and enriched since becoming a mother. At 23, I met a man while traveling solo through Southeast Asia. We got pregnant a month and a half later. Two months after our daughter was born we had to move 3,000 miles from family and our community so he could provide for us. He was gone 6 long days of every week, while I was home with our daughter. Although it was challenging, I eventually found a good rhythm, but then… I became pregnant again. I had lost myself in motherhood and depression struck me like a slow but powerful wave. Living in pajamas, I was isolated, idle and indifferent. I ached for a tribe and longed for connection; I was suffering, and I knew that something had to shift. It dawned on me that if I was to raise strong, directed, passionate and confident children I had to BE that, not just preach about it to them.
My life had to be different; I had to show up, stand up, speak up and choose the direction of my life. Settling for a life that wasn’t full of joy was over. I had to lose myself in my hunt towards discovering my true north. I had to let go of the woman I was before motherhood. She was gone. She no longer existed. I was forced to redefine who I was and SURRENDER to all that motherhood placed before me so that I could uncover a broader heightened form of self. It opened me up to allow the woman I was called to become to move through to the surface. I rose above all the challenges and began my journey into living my life with directed purpose, bravery, and dedication to standing completely in my power.
From this place of clarity, I uncovered my greater purpose beyond motherhood:
My mission and calling is to guide women back home to their divine, true nature by empowering them to redefine what motherhood looks like and live their life with more joy, passion, and self-love.
This week we invite you to join us on the Doing the Work Facebook page to talk about your relationships and sex life. We know this can be a difficult subject to tackle and are grateful to Hannah for opening up the doors for all of us to communicate with each other and find support.

Part 2 of 2--Today have the conclusion of Sahara's coaching call on vulnerability. Last week we hit on the "ah ha" moment of her own place in pushing people away and the story of being an angry person. This week we focus on the baby steps out of that place and the end goals of where she is headed.
Sahara's honesty and willingness to get ready was truly awe inspiring. Each time we have a coaching call, Jay and I walk away changed. We learn from each person and it is such an honor to have them trust our process. Thank you Sahara for your bravery, honesty and your willingness to put yourself out there!
A little info about Sahara with her bio--
Sahara is a rebel, content strategist, and business owner from Phoenix, AZ. She provides content and social media marketing strategies for business owners that value individuality, boldness, a rebel mindset, and an offbeat lifestyle. She empowers them with the tools to harness their weirdness, target the right audience, and grow their businesses like the badasses they are. You can find Sahara's work on her website or on social media including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
This week we invite you to join us on the Doing the Work Facebook page to share your vulnerability stories. What armor have you created to protect yourself and live in survival mode? Are you ready to let it go?

Part 1 of 2--Today we are super excited to introduce you to listener Sahara Page! It was such an honor to have her come on the podcast for a coaching call and WOW she had some massive breakthroughs. I am still blown away by her Ah Ha moment and I know you will be too. Thank you Sahara for your bravery, honesty and your willingness to put yourself out there!

Part 2 of 2--Today we are incredibly honored to continue the coaching call with Madeleine Bock. Her bravery and willingness to face her needs head on and in such a honest way. Madeleine came to us to be coached on weight and body image. This is a topic that hits very close to home for me, as it was the first thing I focused on when I began working with Jay. After years of fighting my weight, he was the first to ask me to forgive myself...and it changed everything.
Body issues affect so many of us. I am so amazed by Madeleine and I know each of you will be as well. As with most of our coaching episodes we have spit this into two parts (check out the first part HERE if you haven't listened yet.) During this episode we review the next steps and most importantly land on a very special mantra/affirmation!
We apologize that this episode is a lot shorter than normal. We had some technical difficulties with the phone lines during this coaching call and more had to be cut out than I had originally thought. You don't miss anything, just static!
This week we invite you to join us on the Doing the Work Facebook page to share your body image stories. Are you ready to let it go?

Whoot! Whoot! We are celebrating one year of Doing the Work! I honestly can't believe it has been a year. It feels like a dream. It is simply an honor and a privilege to get to do this each week and share in each of your journeys. Jay and I are so grateful for each of our listeners and are so excited to get some BIG things happening in year 2.
This week is HUGE and you don't want to miss it. Jay has had some of his own "ah ha" moments around the Law of Attraction and he shares them with us. This is an eye opener for sure. When Jay called me to share his initial thoughts I literally had to pull my car over because I was like YEEEEEEESSSSSS!!!!! This is IT!!
This week we invite you to join us on the Doing the Work Facebook page to let us know what you think about this new way of getting in alignment and the process of "chemicalisation".

"Your SMALL is what comes out to survive your life." ~Jay
We have talked about the SMALL several times over the course of the podcast. It is the ego part of you that can take over when fear is running your operating system. It is that nasty part of you that can snap and say all the ugly that you want to hide or even think you have moved past. And when it shows up it is very easy to beat the hell out of yourself.
Don't do it.
During this episode we discuss how and why the SMALL shows up and what you should do when you start to feel it coming on. The first step? Be good to you. Seriously. You haven't screwed up. You are not a horrible person. And you aren't back at square one.
"You have to find a way to have some compassion for you when you’re in your small, and then step back" ~Jay
This week we invite you to join us on the Doing the Work Facebook page to name your SMALL and share your experience with getting yourself back on track.
Oh my gosh!! We are so excited to have Karen Rausch Cater, author of "Move Your Stuff, Change Your Life" on the podcast today. Her book has been one of Jay's more recommended for all his clients over the years. Her easy approach to Feng Shui is incredibly powerful and attainable.
Karen is a professional feng shui consultant and healthy-lifestyle designer, educator, and the best-selling author of Move Your Stuff, Change Your Life and Make a Shift, Change Your Life. She coaches, trains, and empowers people to use a variety of techniques to enrich and improve all areas of their lives.
Karen has over 20 years of experience studying and implementing methods and modalities that produce consistent, and some say miraculous, results.

When you are really pissed off, hurting, or just feel like throwing yourself a pity party...who do you turn to? Probably someone who makes you "feel better," right? Someone who will agree with you that your boss is a jerk, your husband is worthless or you totally were 100% right in that fight with your sister. And it usually feels pretty good at the time.
But are you transforming your situation?
Nope.
Just like Nina Negativa is not the person to turn to when you need a shoulder to lean on, Amy Agreement is not so great either! It is why finding your "tribe" is so important in this work. You need people in your life that will hold you Accountable not Agree with everything you say.
Who are your "agreement" buddies? Who are those who help you stay in the weeds? Are you ready to find more people who are doing this work? Join us in the private Facebook group, Doing the Work with Jay and Becca where are ready and willing to hold you accountable!

This week we are honored to be joined by Diane Silver, author and part of Jay's Spiritual Entrepreneurs group. Her most recent book, Your Daily Shot of Hope, is a must buy for daily affirmations for when the going gets tough. Or heck, just as a reminder that there is always hope.
Diane Silver is a writer, political activist, and spiritual seeker who speaks about hope and an atheist’s faith to a variety of audiences. She has served as communications director for a candidate for Congress, a press secretary in a gubernatorial campaign, championed equality for LGBTQ people in bright red Kansas, and helped raise hundreds of millions of dollars for two Midwestern universities. Her writings have appeared in Ms., Salon.com, The Progressive, and many other venues.
Your Daily Shot of Hope is available from Amazon.com as a Kindle ebook and paperback. Follow the either link to read the introduction and at least one meditation.

The last couple of episodes were pretty darn heavy. Dealing with the unworthiness conversation can be overwhelming and scary. This book is like the exact opposite. It is a daily dose of inspiration and a reminder that as long as we have hope, we are stronger than we can imagine.
We invite you to get in the inquiry around hope. How can you inject a shot of hope in your everyday? And join us in the private Facebook group, Doing the Work with Jay and Becca where we will be continuing the conversation.
