Don't Be Afraid of Your Woman's Emotions (LIVE Replay)
A funny thing happened this past weekend. I was at a 5K race with Nurse Chick, and I was talking to her mom about Nurse Chick's dog, Spoon. Spoon recently had a toe amputated and has to have bandages on his front paw to let it heal. If Spoon is supervised, he's good about leaving his bandages alone, but if he's unsupervised, he tears his bandages off.
For a couple of weeks now, Spoon has been good and not messed with his bandages while I went out for my daily runs. I run about 4 miles a day, and that takes me about 45 minutes or so. Well, this past week when I was gone, he tore his bandages off. No big deal, I texted Nurse Chick about it, and wrapped him back up.
I told this story to Nurse Chick's mom, and she was like, "Oh my, you must have been so scared that she would be mad at you!" - I told her, that didn't even cross my mind. Then it occurred to me that this is the norm in modern relationships. Men are absolutely terrified of their woman's emotions, and they need to stop being afraid. It's a test of frame. Let's talk about it today!
