๐ ๐ฒ๐ฒ๐ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐ด๐๐ฒ๐๐: Dr. Rommel Sulabo obtained a BS in Agriculture at the University of the Philippines Los Baรฑos in 1997, majoring in Animal Science and specializing in Poultry Nutrition. His undergraduate research focused on microbial phytase supplementation in layer diets. He then worked in the animal feed industry for 5 years as an R&D nutritionist and extension specialist and became an advocate for Filipino swine farmers. In 2003, he received his MS degree in Swine Nutrition at South Dakota State University through a Fulbright scholarship under Dr. Bob Thaler and Dr. Hans Stein's supervision. In 2009, Dr. Sulabo obtained his Ph.D. degree in Swine Nutrition at Kansas State University with Dr. Mike Tokach as his major adviser. After earning his Ph.D., he worked as a postdoc in the Stein lab before returning to the Philippines. Dr. Sulabo is now a professor and the head of the Animal Nutrition Division at the University of the Philippines at Los Baรฑos.
