Our House of Flame and Shadow deep dive continues with chapters 89-93.
The Asteri and Princes of Hel face each other in a battle 15,000 years in the making, and Bryce learns what Theia meant by "portal to nowhere" when she kills Polaris.
Ruhn saves Lidia from Pollux's trap by shooting her and running directly into the trap himself, and Tharion and Ithan finally arrive in the Eternal City with only two unbroken vials of antidote between them. 
Plus, we talk Spark of the Everflame, Polaris' red blood (vs. Vesperus' black), what the fuck is going on in Apollion's mouth, Rhys' beast form and more.

Most importantly, we investigate if Hunt's dick not fitting in the ship's underwear means the wingspan rumor is true OR if mer simply don't need the space.

Our House of Flame and Shadow deep dive continues with chapters 73-78 and Ember and Randall's bonus chapter from the Books-A-Million edition. 
Bryce opens a portal in the middle of Nesta's living room, using her parents as collateral for the Mask before closing the door to Prythian and opening it to Hel's armies. The bonus chapter reveals what went down in Prythian following the exchange, with Rhys furious at Nesta and Ember coming to her defense. 
Ithan girl bosses his way to Prime; Ruhn and Lidia are FaeBook official; Celestina, Isaiah and Naomi rejoin the plot; and Tharion and Sathia meet with the River Queen. Plus, we talk ACOTAR rumors and celebrate Aelin's birthday!

After a discussion of this week's book rec, A Fate Inked In Blood by Danielle L. Jensen,  we pick up our House of Flame and Shadow deep dive with chapters 67-72. 
Bryce steps into her role as Queen B, sending Tharion and Sathia Beneath and the Frat Pack and Lidia to Lunathion, recruiting Ember and Randall for the trip to the Northern Rift and leaving Baxian behind to guard Avallen with Fury, Juniper, Syrinx and Cooper/Emile. 
Hypaxia successfully creates a (temporary) parasite antidote, but instead of immediately taking it to Bryce, Ithan stops by the Den to tell the wolves about Sigrid ... before the reaper herself appears alongside Sabine and the Astronomer. 
Plus, we debate whether Rhys could've winnowed Nyx out and talk Maasverse swords.

After a breakdown of E News' dream ACOTAR casting and a discussion of this week's book rec, The Vampire's Mage Series by C.N. Crawford, we continue our House of Flame and Shadow deep dive with chapters 61-66.
We learn that (unfortunately) Apollion and Thanatos *didn't* run a train on Hunt's mom. He actually had a bio dad, who was killed by the Asteri for his connection to Hel. Speaking of dead dads, we officially say goodbye to the Autumn King's redemption arc, and Bryce girl bosses her way from assistant to Queen of the Valbaran and Avallen fae. 
Plus, we talk Rhys' beast mode possibly being a dragon and the potential effects Bryce awakening Avallen could have on Prythian.

After discussing this week's book rec, The Five Crowns of Okrith series, we continue our House of Flame and Shadow Deep Dive with chapters 56-60.

Hunt finds out he's a demonic test tube baby while he and Bryce are in Hel meeting with Aidas, Apollion and Thanatos, who share Helena's story — including why she chose Avallen as the Fae's stronghold — what happened to the final piece of Theia's power and what they know about the portal to nowhere aka "ultimate destruction." 

Elsewhere on the island, Ruhn and Lidia are days behind the plot and just now realizing Dec and Flynn are missing and Ithan and Hypaxia postpone their trip to Avallen when the Asteri fire brimstone missiles into Asphodel Meadows.

Before diving (deep) into House of Flame and Shadow chapters 50-55, we *have* to talk about Sarah's latest IG post (#ACOwhattt), our viral April Fools' joke, A Court of Fiddles and Pollen, and this week's book rec, "Manacled" by SenLinYu. 

Hunt and Bryce exchange more than just fluids, Tharion and Sathia find only one bed (!!!) in their honeymoon suite, Ithan and Hypaxia's trip to Avallen in search of Sofie's body is delayed when the Asteri blow up Asphodel Meadows, Ruhn's cock tightens, Lidia flinches and Dec and Flynn, who *love* waffles, miss multiple breakfasts, but I'm sure they're fine.

We pick back up with Ithan's mystery necromancer finally arriving and it's 100% that witch, Hypaxia, who is there to swear fealty to the House of Flame and Shadow after losing the cloudberry (lol) crown in a coup. Plus, Bryce & Co.'s trip to Avallen includes a surprise wedding (congratulations, Captain and Mrs. Whatever!)
