We continue our House of Flame and Shadow deep dive with chapters 31-37.

Lidia carries Ruhn (and the entire book) during a dramatic escape from the Eternal City, while Bryce and the Autumn King continue wasting time. Ithan finally finds a storyline (and job) in the House of Flame and Shadow with Jesiba, who promises to help find a necromancer for Sigrid, and Tharion moves his problems to a new location ... again.
Next week: chapters 38-42

Our House of Flame and Shadow deep dive (now on YouTube!) continues with chapters 26-30.

Bryce's already tenuous truce with Nesta and Az ends on less-than-great terms as her adventure in Prythian comes to an end ... for now. And you'll never guess where (and when) she lands back in Midgard.

The mission to save Ruhn is off to a rocky start with Ithan sprinting (??) away at a pivotal moment to visit Jesiba (??) at the House of Flame and Shadow. Plus, we discuss Bride by Ali Hazelwood, ACOTAR VR and which SJM character we'd bring back.

Next week: chapters 31-36.

Our House of Flame and Shadow deep dive (now on YouTube!) continues with chapters 21-25.

We kick off the episode guessing what SJM and Margot Robbie were talking about at their recent coffee date. Could Margot be involved in a future SJM adaption as a producer and/or actress (and who would we cast her as?), or was it just a meet cute for two Fantasy fangirlies?

We finally learn Silene's fate after returning to Prythian (and how the trickle-down effect impacted Feyre way back in ACOTAR) + Bryce puts everyone at risk doing her best Aelin impression. Lidia continues to carry the plot in Midgard, risking everything for a male who would rather have his hand chewed off than simply *talk* to her.

Plus, we talk potential connections to Maeve, Valg in Prythian and Midgard, Mor's mystery shadows and very confusing family trees.

This week's episode (House of Flame and Shadow chapters 16-20) features a breakdown of Silene's lore dump, including liberator-turned-conquerer Theia's unexpected (and disappointing) villain arc; what we learned about music and mommy issues in the Bryce, Nesta & Az bonus chapter; the lengths Ruhn will go to in order to avoid simply *speaking* to Lidia ; and the Ithan/Siggy will they/won't they we didn't see coming.

Plus, what the Hel do Illyrians and angels do with their hands while they fly and WHY did Sarah have to make Pollux so damn sexy??

Please read chapters 21-25 for next week's episode.

In our coverage of House of Flame and Shadow chapters 11-15, we break down the progression of the tunnel carvings and what they mean for the past, present and future of both Prythian and Midgard.

Could the monolith atop Ramiel be wyrdstone? And what (or whom) sleeps beneath the mountains of Prythian?

We also discuss both the canon and theorized connections between Ramiel, the Illyrians, Thurr, Enalius and Pelias; whether or not Bryce and Rhys are related (and what that means in the line of succession); and how the CC villains compare to TOG and ACOTAR.

Next week: chapters 16-20.

We continue our House of Flame and Shadow deep dive with chapters 5-10.

In Midgard, we meet the Sprite Queen, update our LinkedIn titles to Imperial Hag and attend yet another Captain Whatever pity party. Meanwhile, in Prythian, Bryce tries to add another public indecency charge to her file and goes on a hot girl walk with Nesta.

Plus, Bryce's background in art history and ancient languages comes in clutch, we get a callback to Feyre's trials in the first ACOTAR and a possible connection to the Throne of Glass witches.

Next week: HOFAS chapters 11-15.

We kick off our House of Flame and Shadow deep dive this week with the prologue (where we finally get Lidia's POV) and chapters 1-4 (where we get POV whiplash).

We’re dropped back in the Crystal Palace two days after Bryce jumped through the gate, trying to get to Hel to ask for Apollion and Aidas’ help, but instead landing in Prythian. While Bryce petitions Rhys, Amren and Az for her Prythian Green Card, Hunt, Ruhn and Baxian are at the mercy of the Hind and Pollux in the Asteri dungeons; Tharion trades his underwater cage for a cage match; and Ithan tries to hold his pack together.

Next week: chapters 5-10.

In our House of Sky and Breath finale, we cover chapters 71-78, the epilogue and the bonus chapters.

We pick back up in chapter 71 with Bryce's underwhelming-turned-overwhelming discovery in the Asteri Archives, while the rest of Team Fuck-You are busy being caught (suspiciously easily?). It might be time to slide into Apollion's DMs, now that Bryce has learned the truth, and apologize to Al Gore, because that truth is inconvenient.

We discuss the possibility of the angel prototypes being the Illyrians, a Wyrdstone atop Ramiel, Theia being Mala (or Maeve), Ruhn's reaction to Agent Day taking off her Superman glasses, how thoroughly the Cadre was played by Rigelus, our fear over what "Then Hunt knew nothing at all" means, and whether or not Bryce actually *did* land in Hel.

House of Sky and Breath chapters 61-70.

In the penultimate episode of our HOSAB deep dive, we break down Bryce's opposite of a wet dream with Apollion. Could Parthos — now a vast, dusty plain — be the same place the Bone Carver told Feyre about? We also compare the BC to the Sin-Eater and Lunathion — modeled after an ancient coastal city — to Antica.

Topics include the possibility of Jesiba being Theia's daughter, Tharion's blood oath (and the Viper Queen being Valg), and the latest Danika bombshell. Plus, Sarah finally answers whether or not Hunt has a foot fetish.

Next week: chapters 71-78 + epilogue/bonus chapters.
