The Oracle either a) gives Hunt a genuine warning or b) is just a petty bitch; everything the hosts know about mythology comes from Xena: Warrior Princess; Hunt might be Jesus (?) and has the abs to prove it; Parthos has a possible Illyrian connection;  Briggs: I'll tell ya how I'm doing ... not well, bitch; THIGHS TOUCH; everything we learn about Shahar is against our will.

The hosts worry about being kidnapped and no one bidding on them at auction; the cool kids are mean to shadow daddy; Nesta's going to be boned in more ways than one; we find out the angel in the alley was David Boreanaz (jk); the club can't even handle them right now; HER NAILS ARE DUSKY; Hunt's phone has (probably) made a slideshow of his corpse photos; and Ariana/Sandriel, what are you doing here?

House of Earth and Blood chapters 8-18.

The murders have started again ... but Briggs couldn't have summoned the demon from prison, right? Looks like a case (of forced proximity) for Bryce and Hunt.

Hosts Cait and Elle ignore all of the red flags for a pretty face; Bryce gets mistaken for a prostitute *twice* in one night (oof); Hunt shame showers; Sandriel is otw; Ruhn relaxes in his mojo dojo casa house; and the Autumn King tinkers.

Sarah really outdid herself with the world(s) building, so we start with a breakdown of Midgard — its power structure, Houses, species, potential connections to other SJM books and, most importantly, which character(s) have hooves — before diving into the story.
