Recidivism – The tendency of a convicted criminal to re-offend.

Conjecture – An opinion or conclusion formed on the basis of incomplete information.

Meritocracy – People selected on the basis of their ability.

Stoic – A person who can endure pain or hardship without showing their feelings or complaining.

Courtesy Bias – The tendency that some individuals have of not fully stating their unhappiness with a service or product because of a desire not to offend the person or organization that they are responding to.

Seminal – Strongly influencing later developments.

Confirmation Bias – Looking for evidence that confirms your views.

Litigious – Unreasonably prone to go to law to settle disputes.

Moral Compass – Used in reference to a person's ability to judge what is right and wrong and act accordingly.

Groupthink – Following the thought process of the masses rather than thinking for yourself.

Duality – An instance of opposition or contrast between two concepts or two aspects of something; a dualism.

Impressionable – Easily swayed influenced or taken advantage of.

Ascribe – Attribute, regard an object of belonging to.

Prevailing – Leading and popular.

Objective – Unbiased, neutral in decision making.

Meld – To form by merging or blending.

Charismatic – Exercising a compelling charm which inspires devotion in others.

Invariably – In every case or on every occasion; always.

5 Whys – An iterative interrogative technique used to explore the cause-and-effect relationships underlying a particular problem.

S.M.A.R.T. Goals – Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant and Time-bound.

Innate – Inborn or natural abilities.

Symposium - A conference or meeting to discuss a particular subject.

Carrot or the Stick – An idiom that refers to a policy of offering a combination of reward and punishment to induce good behavior. It is named in reference to a cart driver dangling a carrot in front of a mule and holding a stick behind it

Aimless – Without purpose or direction.

Averse – Having a strong dislike of or opposition to something.

Sandwich Method – In giving feedback, tell something beneficial followed by an area of needed improvement and end with another positive.

Tent-pole Moments – On a tent-pole sits the highest portion of the tent and in business, this is looked at as a pivotal or seminal moment.

Mitigate – Make less severe, painful or punitive.

Endgame – Final stage of a game or plan.

Punitive – Inflicting or intended as punishment.

Reciprocity – The practice of exchanging things with others for mutual benefit, especially privileges granted by one country or organization to another.

Indictment – A formal charge or accusation of a serious crime.

Untenable – Not able to be maintained or defended against attack or objection.

Digression Session – A small wrinkle in time when the hosts go off topic to rant about something.
