Dr. Jana Houser is a runner & a leading research scientists on tornadogenesis. This episode gets into the science of tornado formation. She will continue her research, thanks to a $1.7 million grant she just landed, through Ohio State, to build a mobile radar system. Her research has already sampled more than a dozen tornadoes with most rotating at the ground first. Really honored to chat with her and about the robust meteorology program Ohio State has to offer young minds.
