On Thursday, the Trump administration, along with Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Rep. Bradley Byrne (R-AL), released a plan to give families more choice through “Education Freedom Scholarships.” The proposal gives businesses and individuals a federal tax credit if they donate to a state’s scholarship granting organizations.
