Our Journey to Eurosong 2025 continues. In today's episode, we're holding our very own Eurosong! Who will represent Ireland at the Eurovision Song Contest in Basel this May? We want to (try!) find out! We will be conducting our very own vote - exactly like Eurosong. We'll have a panel of international jurors, a panel of Irish jurors, and a public vote.

In today's episode, we're joined by EMMY! She is a 24-year-old singer-songwriter from Norway. Growing up in a musically inclined family, she has been singing for as long as she can remember. At just seven years old, she began crafting her own songs, often collaborating with her brother, who is also a singer-songwriter.

Her musical journey took off in 2015 when, at the age of 15, she competed in Melodi Grand Prix Junior, one of Norway's premier music competitions for children. In 2021, six years later, she made her mark on the national stage by participating in Melodi Grand Prix, Norway's Eurovision Song Contest selection. Her performance of the song 'Witch Woods' gained significant attention.

Today, Emmy is widely recognized for her presence on TikTok, where her captivating performances have earned her a following of 1.2 million fans from across the globe. She has also collaborated with prominent music producers like K-391 and Braaheim.

In 2024, her passion for songwriting took her to Los Angeles, Latvia, and France, where she participated in various creative sessions. Beyond music, Emmy is a talented freelance graphic designer, showcasing her artistic versatility.
