Jessica Rich, MS, MHC-LP is a mental health counselor, yoga teacher, and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Mental Health Counseling in New York City.
Jessica became inspired to choose this career after she was going through challenging times as a child and began meeting with a therapist at the age of 8.
The therapy ended up being life-changing for Jessica and the close and nonjudgmental relationship she developed with her therapist was the catalyst for her wanting to someday be that person for others who needed someone to listen.
In her work today, Jessica backs everything up with scientific studies to talk through individual issues and work toward feeling better. She specializes in working with couples, anxiety, depression, LGBTQ issues, grief, and women’s issues.
We talk about why communication is the key to a healthy and long-lasting relationship, why we should never settle, ways we can know when we've found 'the one', and the importance of mastering openness and vulnerability with our partners.
If you're in the NYC area and would like to work with Jessica, you can contact her for more information at [email protected] and find her Psychology Today profile here and her Instagram page here.
