This episode focuses on hearing the voices of transgender people living with HIV and their advocates as they share what matters most to them when it comes to healthcare services and where HIV fits among those priorities. We also consider how these insights can assist healthcare professionals in configuring HIV care to better meet the needs of this key population. Topics addressed include:

• Overarching health and well-being priorities within the broader context of everyday life challenges 
• Personal experiences of suboptimal interactions with healthcare services, and their impact on health-seeking behaviors
• Key components of a transgender-welcoming healthcare environment 
• Principles of people-centered care including integrating HIV care with gender-affirming care
• Concerns regarding HIV management that HIV healthcare professionals should anticipate and address
