 I am sitting down for a conversation via Zoom with Dan Gomez and Kurt Manzer from The Grounded Man to talk about their break away movement and global network of grounded men. This is the first time I have interview two guests at once and I found this session to be most interesting and enlightening. Dan and Kurt are certified yoga teachers and physical trainers with experince coaching and connecting with men all over the world. Their outlook and perspectives are helping so many people figure out who they are and find self acceptance.

The Grounded Man is a community. It’s founding members have created a safe space for men, or people who identify as men to share their feelings, gain personal awareness, confidence, be accountable and integrate for a more grounded life.

TODAY, I am speaking with Dr. Ray Deonandan. Dr. Deonandan was put on my personal radar after I read a pubished article of his titled: COVID19: The End Game. Dr. Deonandan is an Epidemologist and professor at Ottawa University and this particular article has over 80,000 reads. It’s popularity, in my opinion, is because of his comprehensive prediction of what is actually going on in the world, what we need to expect here, and how this Virus is predicted to play out. In other words—the End Game. After reading the article, I finally had a sense of what we are in for in terms of time frames for lock downs, what to expect in 2-4 months from now and how long we need to hunker down and be unified in social distancing. Is this the new normal?

I began my detox 71 days ago. Since then, I have experienced a dramatic shift within my physical body.

However, my physical body has not been the only aspect of my being that is detoxing. Throughout this journey, I have also been detoxing myself from the toxic, painful, stressful, shameful story of my programming.

More about Daniel… He graduated Pre-Med from Emory University with a BS (Key Acronym) in Biology & even took the MCAT about 10 years ago. Before applying to medical school to stay on the path of "NORMAL" as people advised him, he decided to "take a year off." That year off has now turned into a decade of BREAKING NORMAL adventures throughout all 50 states and at least 20 countries. 

He travels the world as a keynote speaker and facilitator of Breaking Normal Experiences / radical retreats and workshops (though he likes to call them playshops, as what's more pure than play?) based on the principles of raw honesty and emotional freedom. He found that the common theme through his journey and experiences was that so many people seemed to be trapped in self-imposed prisons, keeping a lid on their genius, joy, and growth. Thus Breaking Normal became a way for people to free themselves from this self-imposed prison.
