Today I am going to break down my solo Montana archery elk hunt.  It was a one day hunt adventure.  I also go over tactics as well as things I learned from elk hunting three states in 2020 on general tags.

I've known Willi Schmidt of Pure Hunting for over 10 years.  He's a solid dude if not one of my most trusted allies in the hunting industry.  Willi and I have shared bear camp before and he even came to one of my ElkShape Camps to help out.  He's a super great guy with a very authentic and relatable hunting show.

WE recorded a 4 hour lecture on elk hunting success in February of 2020 in Oregon.  Dirk Durham and myself take the ElkShape Campers though an entire start to finish approach to elk hunting.  We start with acquiring tags, scouting, research all the way through public land elk hunting tactics.  This podcast is just under two hours and the rest of the lecture can be found over at the Elk Collective.

Today's podcast is LIVE from Ryan Lampers' Western Hunting Summit.  This lecture excerpt is centered around identifying the areas at which you do not excel in when it comes to hunting.  Maybe it is animal behavior, land navigation, woodsman-ship, physical or mental preparedness.  This comes as a good reminder to work on your weaknesses not your strengths.
