  • Do what works best FOR you with Heather Anderson
Heather Anderson is a happy special needs mom and lover of life in Southern California. Through her business, The Autism Oasis, she helps families affected by autism live happy, fulfilled lives. She also runs a marketing firm that caters to financial services providers.

    TAKEAWAYS:

Heather’s super hero is her ability to identify the type of content that her audience is looking for. She leverages her background in journalism to create highly converting content based on streamlined market research to increase traffic to articles and blog posts.

  • Why NOT you? with MeiLani Hock
MeiLani is the mother of 5 beautiful kids under 11.

When MeiLani’s 2 year old son was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2014, it was the wake up call she needed in life. She realized it was time to stop making excuses of all the reasons she couldn't do things, and instead just start doing. Instead of focusing on the "Why Me?" situations she chose to capitalize on the "Why NOT Me?" attitude.

She jumped into her lifelong dream of real estate investing in flipping houses. After years of watching AirBnB's growth and wanting a piece of the action, she acted on her "Why NOT Me?" mantra and opened her first 4 AirBnBs within the next 4 months. She continues to open and close Airbnb, using her properties or others.

Since 2013, MeiLani has been flipping homes, building new construction, buying short and long term rentals, and much more. Her passion is helping women use their time effectively to utilize their talents in adding to the families’ finances without sacrifices their life as a mom.

    TAKEAWAYS:

MeiLani’s super power in her business is absolute 100% authenticity accountable to her friends and colleagues.

One of MeiLani’s most favorite things around her business is how involved her kids are in her business. She really enjoys having her kids know what her business does and have an opinion and some input in it.

When her 2 year old son was diagnosed with brain cancer, MeiLani jumped full force into her business, starting it while her son was undergoing life-saving treatments. She decided that she wasn’t able to sit around and wait until things were perfect to start the business she had been thinking of for YEARS. Instead of focusing on the negative and saying “Why me?” her mantra became “Why NOT me?”.

MeiLani’s business is truly built around her family and her goal with everything is to spend as much time with them as possible. She has tried out multiple different business models and ways of working within the real estate field, and has landed on AirBnb’s as a way to be an amazing host, fill her creative cup, and make significant income consistently.

  • Choose to make your business easy
What if we were to approach every single thing in our business from a place of ease?

    Starting Facebook Ads? Easy peasy.
Running a Masterclass? Piece of cake.
Sales calls for your high-end 1:1 program? So freaking easy.

Time and time again I hear women say that business is hard. And yes, while it can challenge us in crazy ways, using that dialogue turns into a story that we tell ourselves and we start to believe is true.

So why not rewrite that story and allow our businesses to be and feel easy?

In today’s 6-Figure Mompreneur Podcast I go down the rabbit hole in what it means to choose ease in our businesses. Ditch the overwhelm, ditch the hustle, ditch the grind, and MAKE IT EASY!

  • Silencing your inner mean girl with Angela Naumann
Angela Naumann is a boymom, bookie nerd, and an amateur wine taster. She’s been married for over 20 years and loves to go on adventures with my family. After 20+ years of her own entrepreneurial and personal growth journey, she became a life coach for women that sometimes needed a “Yoda” in their life.

    TAKEAWAYS:

Angela’s super power is silencing your inner mean girl and helping you to unleash your inner 6- or 7-figure CEO.

Oftentimes we have to rewire the way we think about achieving our goals. We think that when we have a 6 or 7-figure business THEN we can have this life that we so deeply desire. When what really needs to happen is we need to have the life that we want first, THEN our business will step up and meet our life. With a poverty mindset, you cannot have a 6- or 7-figure business. You have to manage your mind first, then everything else will fall into place.

Angela breaks the action that we do in our businesses down into passive vs. active action. Passive action is the work that maintains our business, whereas massive action is the activity that moves our business forward.

Letting go of perfectionism and truly accepting who you are, makes failure not as big of a deal. Failure is going to happen and when you’re willing to fail, and fail publically, that’s when true internal growth happens. And internal growth is the key to growing your business.

Confidence is crucial to our inner growth as individuals. If we show up to a webinar with a stomach full of knots, the confidence factor isn’t going to be perceived as strongly. This starts with the thoughts we allow to infiltrate our minds. To correct this we can make a list of the words or phrases that elicit massive amounts of confidence in ourselves and use them during times that we may feel we need a confidence boost.

  • Your 6-figure block with Kerryn Hewson
Kerryn Hewson is a productivity coach and systems strategist for ambitious mompreneurs. She helps organize your business so that you can have more time and freedom to spend on the things that matter: growing your business, being present with your family, and taking time for yourself.

After 10 years working in corporate as a project manager and business analyst she launched her business when her daughter was 6 months old and 3 years later has another birth, baby, and round of maternity leave under her belt. All while living the naptime hustle, breathing the juggle of a stay-at-home / work-at-home mom, and flexing her productivity muscles in a 15 hour work week.

Kerryn advocates for imperfect systems that work the way we work, support us in taking action, and creates a customer experience that clients rave about. Ultimately, she wants to make the day to day easier in your business so you can turn your attention to creating and living your dream lifestyle.

    TAKEAWAYS:

This summer Kerryn and her family got sick for 12 solid weeks, and despite it being horrible, it helped her to narrow down the activities in her business that actually got results. On the other side of her terrible 12 weeks she is now looking at being fully booked and starting a waitlist for her high-end 1:1 services.

Kerryn attributes her success to a hearty dose of mindset work. She does three stream of consciousness “morning pages” and has committed to doing it every single day this year. Writing has always been a source of creativity and motivation for her.

Kerryn’s legacy that she is leaving is one of freedom and choice. You don’t have to do the “socially acceptable route” just because that’s what you do. Making money doesn’t have to be a burden, or hard, or something that holds us back. Making money can fuel how we live our lives and helps us to see live in a way that we truly desire. Kerryn believes in lifestyle first, and then fill in that gaps for that lifestyle with your business.

  • Are you your business's glass ceiling?
As the year is coming to an end, and the cart for the Legacy Mastermind starts to close for 2020, I’ve been thinking a lot about goal setting, how we can self-sabotage our goals without really realizing it, and how outside influences might and can affect how we act in our businesses.

And instead of doing another goal-setting podcast, which are a dime a dozen during this time of the year, I want to dive a bit deeper into what makes those goals you set for yourself a reality, or completely unattainable. And that thing is YOU.

On this week’s episode I’m going to be sharing and explaining what self-sabotage actually looks like, how you might be doing this and not realizing it, and why it’s the thing that is creating and keeping a glass ceiling in your business. If you want to grow your business like crazy in 2020, this episode is for you!

  • A legacy of resilience with Molly Blomeley
Molly Blomeley is a fitness and nutrition coach that specializes in helping people feel comfortable and confident with their fitness and nutrition goals. After an autoimmune disease diagnosis herself she began turning her attention towards the nutrition side of fighting her disease. She has been able to help countless patients fight back from a place of pain and frustration to a place where they can feel whole again. She is a mother of two teenagers and one adorable cat. She has built her legacy with my girls and both have a role in her multiple businesses.

    TAKEAWAYS:

Molly’s superpower in her business is resilience. She is constantly being hit from every corner and has still been able to recover and come back even better than ever. Being a single mom, she has no choice but to succeed.

From very early on Molly chose to surround herself with phenomenal people. It was a conscious choice on her part to make sure that excellence was around her at all times.

Something that keeps Molly moving is continually moving. If she’s caught up in an obstacle that isn’t making sense, or a topic that is tripping her up, she’ll switch gears and work on something else. She finds that when she moves away from that frustration, and then comes back to it after a period of time, when she comes back to it, everything is much clearer and she’s able to work on it.

While Molly views her brick and mortar and her online business very differently, there are distinct similarities between the three, it’s just a different avenue for her to help and serve her clients. Something that she loves is the in-person connection that she has with her brick and mortar and how she can actually touch and talk to her clients face to face. And that has been something she has really enjoyed and found to be very impactful about the Legacy Mastermind, the in-person retreats. When you can actually sit and talk to someone who is similarly ambitious as you are, the connection is much deeper and the friendships last beyond the individual programs.

Molly’s legacy is showing her daughters that they can literally do anything they want to do. Money, excuses, and fear aren’t good enough reasons to not pursue you dreams.
