The webcast will discuss Emotional Support Animals. By the end of this presentation, participants should be able to describe relevant federal and state laws surrounding the use of emotional support animals. They will become familiar with the minimal evidence that exists to support use of emotional support animals for psychiatric disability. They will weigh the ethical considerations of an ESA evaluation. They will become aware of liability concerns surrounding ESA evaluations.
