Zoe Backstedt is a 5x World Champion, at only 18 years old. Zoe exudes confidence, but on and off the race course. She is able to make her way through the chaotic starts of cyclocross race with what seems like ease. She has the confidence to rub elbows with some athletes she looked up as heroes to just a few years ago, and she does it with grace. Yet, she remains incredibly humble through it all. This year, the kit Rapha designed for me is based on emotions. More specifically, the emotions of racing. 

On the kit, each colour represents an emotion that I believe is key to a good racing mindset. Happiness, Calm, Excitement, Focus, Awareness, and agressivity. 

On this podcast series, I will sit down with different athletes to dig deep into each of these racing emotions; to discuss all sides of each emotions and try and learn from each of these great athletes.
