I welcome Nathan Field to #therobotindustrypodcast. Nathan moved to Halifax, Nova Scotia, and joined Enginuity a robot and automation engineering integrator based on Canada's East Coast. Nathan is the automation and robotics manager at Enginuity.

Being near the ocean poses some very interesting and unusual challenges for automation and robotics users and designers including tough and challenging environments.

During the podcast, we talk about mounting robots on boats, safety, innovative solutions, material handling, and the challenges of picking and placing things that move using vision (I am thinking about lobsters and crabs).
