Not who did you *want* to be or who did other people want you to be? But WHO did YOU expect to be at this stage of your life? And are you that person?

I've thought about variations of this theme for years, maybe even my whole adulthood. Because my life hasn't turned out at all like I expected. Okay, that's not entirely true.
