Wednesday Wisdom — When to Upgrade Your Clubs.
Today I talked about the importance of upgrading your equipment at the right time. As your swing changes, your clubs need to match who you are now, not who you were years ago. When to Consider Upgrading
- Distances or ball flight have changed
- Shaft no longer suits your speed
- Same miss keeps showing up
- Wedges have worn grooves
General Timelines
- Driver/Woods: every 2–3 years
- Irons: every 5 years
- Wedges: every 12–18 months
- Putter: If it aint broke - don't fix it!
Bottom line: The right equipment removes compensations and helps you play your best.
