Thanks so much for joining me today! Today I’ll be talking about one of the biggest challenges that first-time scholarly book authors face, which is maintaining the motivation to write, day in and day out. You can find the full transcript of this episode at YourWordsUnleashed.com/2.

When the semester is going full force, writing is often the first thing to drop off your to-do list. And then when summers and holidays finally arrive, you just want to rest and recharge and not think about work at all, which is completely justified and utterly necessary for a healthy life!

In this episode, I’m going to talk about one relatively simple, but very effective, way to maintain internal motivation to keep working on your book manuscript no matter what else is going on in your life. And although it’s a pretty straightforward concept, it’s not one that gets talked about enough.
